It happened that the weekend had been set for the gubernatorial election for the states respectively. Hence, the electorates had to go to their respective polling unit to cast their vote.
However, I was among the eligible citizens that didn't go out to cast my vote following thw disappointment obtained from the past concluded presidential election. I wouldn't say twas free and fair tho' but I didn't wanna get another heartbreak so I decided to stay at home and bore myself to stupor.
During this time, almost all businesses were closed and all the streets of the town was void of people moving around as security operatives were on duty.
I did stay indoors and decided to make use of my spare time to conduct extreme sanitation. "Hmm, I can't remember when last I did some serious business of home sanitation"
I spent hours upon hours cleaning up and down every nook and cranny of tge house.
Surely I was really tired but happy with myself for the job Weldon.
In the meantime, I'll be waiting to hear the verdict from the electoral commission of my state.
Definitely, some will be heartbroken while some will be filled with joyand gladness. Nevertheless, I'll be here listening and watching while sipping mh glass of juice and smiling all alone.
