I heard once a similar thought. It was that we will likely be the last generation to die. That was referring to my generation, Gen X, but it could be older Millennials too. The idea is that for younger generations, there is so much info about them stored digitally—photos, blog posts, private diary entries, etc—that when they actually die, their kids will feed all this info into AI and boom, an AI version of the dead person will pop up, one that looks like and sounds like the dead person, with all of their opinions and thoughts. So even though though grandma is actually dead, for all appearances to future generations she will be alive forever to spread whatever wisdom or gossip she has to spread.

In effect, future generations will live forever (in a sense).

That would be really interesting to see how it would play out over generations... lol I can see all kinds of weird interactions occurring.
