Well, it's the last day of the year. It is the day to get stuff done.
I when to my credit union to take care of stuff on this last day. I was even in line in the credit union and some old man looked at me and I said, It is the last day of the year and we have to do stuff. He looked at me and smiled.
Earlier my neighbor asked me to take him to work today. I said, OK. Well, he does pay me to do such a thing and I did get a text not too long ago to pick him up from work today at 9:30 pm, and of course I will pick him up and now I can add to his tab.
I got a call from a cousin that wanted to know how I am doing. That was great and I told him what I was doing today. I mentioned that I was cooking my 6 hour chicken soup. I told him what I do put in the soup.
Main thing about the 6 hour cooking of chicken soup is that most of the bones can be chewed on and eaten. Well, most of Americans are calcium deficient, as mentioned in Trends in Calcium Intake among the US Population: Results from the NHANES (1999–2018), well sure maybe that is why old people fall and break their hip.
So cooking the chicken soup long enough for the calcium and other minerals to leach out into the soup, a great way to get some extra calcium. So let's eat some slow cooked at low temperature chicken soup.
With chicken soup like that I would drink every drop.
This kind of reminds me of an audio that was mailed to most people in the 90's called, Dead Doctors Don't Lie by Joel Wallach, by the way this audio is available on Youtube, search it out. The audio was trying to get you to notice that doctors die young and there are very old people that do things that dead doctors would never do when they were alive.
There was mention in it that kidney stones are formed because the patent is so calcium deficient that the body take calcium from the person owns bones, but the residue ends up in the kidney as it is not they way it is supposed to be, Joel Wallach in that audio, says we need more calcium and more magnesium so we don't get kidney stones.
Of course there are doctors that tell you to stay away from calcium, but that is what they told my late dad, my late dad believed that doctor. I would rather believe Joel Wallach.
So to remind myself to go against the logic of some doctors, I do have a tape in my 2001 Toyota Avalon XLS that I play and it reminds me to take extra calcium.
So I told my cousin of other things that I was doing today.
Well, it is time to eat my last meal of this 2024 year and drink up all its calcium.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you. Colossians 4:14.
