I Wish I Could Complain About Nothing

Let's be honest, the world is not fair. Most dreams of a larger portion of people remain unfulfilled. Almost everyone faces some critical moment in life when one starts complaining. It is quite normal if life gives one hardship and for that one complains. But if we take the time to show gratitude for all the things we have compared to others, we will find out we are more blessed than a lot out there.

We may keep complaining about many things but often forget to acknowledge what matters most. As an example, one may complain about not having the latest model branded shoes. Whereas another may complain about his torn shoes. Tracing back, we may find someone, who is complaining about an accident which may have resulted in amputation of that person's leg. If somehow, the first person comes across the person with no leg and hears the complaint of not having a leg, the wish for new shoes may fade a bit.

I am not a big fan of comparing people. Each of them is unique, and probably all of them have some painful events that are not for the public to know. If we compare a billionaire with a poor person, we may think the poor person has more sorrow, but in reality, we can see that despite having a huge amount of assets, the rich person has depression, mental pressure, wish to increase his assets even more, and not have a healthy family are the reasons he did not have a good night sleep for a long period.

There are many things I complain about. The list could go a mile if written. But sometimes, I try to understand others. There are several people I know, who have much more to complain about, yes they do, but they can cope with it and are going forward. It is not wise to complain and not take any necessary steps to change the state.

I wish I could complain about nothing, and take the steps necessary to eradicate the reasons for the complaining. As complaining and being sad will make one's life stuck in at dark place, from where to return is very tough!
