Im not emotional, tears hardly rolls down my cheek no matter how sad I am but on this day it was a mixture of tears, sweat and joy. Tears freely flowed like a newborn who just saw the light out of the mother's womb.

I cried not because I was in pain but it was happy tears. As is the custom in Nigerian universities the final exams that qualifies you for graduation comes with merriment, signing on plain whites and joy overload. My case wasn't an exception the happiness radiating on my face is a testament to the fact that I was really looking forward to this day as it has prolonged beyond normal due to strike actions and the COVID 19 break.

My course of 5 years turned to 6 years for me with enough stress, failed expectations, Increased economic hardship and many other factors numerous to mention. The struggles encountered to finish this degrees was worth celebrating. Finally I made it, the effort was worth it and I came out smiling.

A picture is really worth much if you really consider the circumstances at which it was taken. I am really grateful to be able to come this far and move on to other facets of life.
