Hi guys this blog is about living with ADHD Which stands for ATTENTION DEFICITS HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER! I myself don't have ADHD but my partner does and her condition effects us both on a daily basis but I understand she can't control herself and her mind her mind is constantly racing 100 mph!
If you meet my partner for a brief minute you would think she was like any one else this is the problem mental health illness it's invisible to the naked eye but after a few minutes with her you would notice she is very outspoken compulsive and she can't stand still!
You would automatically assume that she has behaviour problems or she comes across rude and abrupt and very spontaneous!
But she actually can't control herself its a illness but she is judged as people only see bad behaviour they don't understand she actually can't help it!

I understand her illness after 3 years of being with her I understand how she thinks and feels i know how to slow her down to try and help her understand something!
See with ADHD I have to explain things several times i even got to pick my moments right as if she is busy doing something she is literally in her own world.

See kira doesn't process information like you or myself she needs things explained a few times for her to understand and allow her to ask questions shes not sure of and allow her to ask them over and over until she grasps it.

I just think we need to be a little more understanding of people and realise even if we can't see it they could still be disabled. Kira finds it difficult in everyday life as people thinks she rude when she speaks or if shes late for something they don't understand she can't manage time she can't even sign a credit agreement as she doesn't understand what she is signing!
I also think there should be more help available it took us 3 years to get kira diagnosed at the age of 20 she went through her whole school life knowing she was different but didn't know why!

She Was treated like the naughty child she wasn't naughty she had a medal illness that was getting overlooked as she had the label of being naughty!
She is hard work she can be very argumentative as she doesn't understand things but i feel if she wasn't labelled as a naughty kid people would of seen she was struggling with mental illness!
So please next time you see a naughty kid think there might be more going on and seek help and support as they are people who can live normal lives as ADHD can be managed with various medications.
I believe if she got the help at 14 instead of 20 she wouldn't of wasted her youth she would have got help she needed but be warned its not a quick process it took us 3 years to get an official diagnosis!
Please see a list of symptoms below for ADHD these kids need help and support not to be judged as the naughty child!

What a thoughtful post. I hope she gets better... if that's possible. 🤔

Hi, friend @cryptokingzno1

It must be very difficult to live with someone who has a mental condition of this type. They certainly require special treatment and permanent attention.

However, it is our obligation, as human beings, to support them in their insertion into society.

Very good post. It shows us a difficult side of life that few of us know.

A big hug

Thank-you for your kind words people are very quick to judge I'm afraid our attitudes on how we treat one another has to change

Many people live with ADHD but are only diagnosed late in life, not an easy condition to live with both for the sufferer and those closest ti them. Your Kira is fortunate that you understand her condition, hugs and strength to both of you. I believe this is one condition where the correct medication is vital!

Yes thanks and definitely you need the right medication thats what were going through now can be trial and error! Thanks for commenting

Your post will be helpful for others. Having had childhood trauma can also affect this disorder. We need more compassion and less judgement. Therapy can also help in conjunction with this disorder and in France their approach with children and families is very different then just putting chemicals in them. Behavioral 0can also be very beneficial.

Bless you for loving and advocating for her.
Prayers for her and you

Thank you 😊 I agree in the uk they give rittalin which is a form of amphetamine as it has opposite effect with people with ADHD it has a calming effect.

The same drug is one of many used here.
