Dreams have a strange correspondence with real life. I do believe dreams just show you something that is missing or something that you forgot. There is something that has to be hidden away from us for our own safety, but the brain hides it, and dreams just show it.
I never realize what my dreams mean. I think about them when I wake up, and immediately I cannot remember most of it. It’s like my brain is hiding it away from me.
Whatever dreams are, they are calm, and I usually feel like they are a part of me. On the days I don’t dream, it feels as if I was dead for some part of the day.
There are people that I know who never dream, and then there are people like me who dream a lot.
When I played chess, it usually got me into a loop of endless moves. And when I am worried about something, it surrounds me in a world where I get those answers, but nothing makes sense. It is quite sensory and mythical.
In a case where I wanted something and it couldn’t happen for me, I wanted to prove it, and to the extent I knew it was nearly impossible. Because I thought about it so much, or because I was destined, I got that in a dream.
I don’t know if dreams correspond to waking life, but I am very curious about it.
