In the darkness of infinite disconsolation,
A soul full of torment hides.
An agonising sigh pierces the breast,
The wounded heart finds no relief.
Desolation that intoxicates even the very air,
Anguish expands unceasingly,
Each step damaged by the weight of suffering,
Sadness takes over every attempt.
Tears fall like snow in winter,
Freezing any glimmer of hope.
The wounded soul seeks rescue,
But finds only emptiness in every embrace.
The days fade away in a sea of melancholy,
Sunlight fades into gloom.
Laughter drowns in a sea of silence,
Grief becomes the only companion.
Despair consumes every last breath,
Loneliness takes over every heartbeat.
Life seems like an eternal shipwreck,
Where there is no safe harbour and no shelter.
But in the midst of the storm and agony,
A ray of hope illuminates the horizon.
Disconsolation slowly fades away,
Replaced by a flame that is reborn.
Through suffering, strength is found,
And in the darkest shines the light.
Grief transformed into strength,
The soul reborn, with a new lease of life.
The road will still be difficult and full of obstacles,
But determination persists without surrender.
Grief has left its mark,
But the spirit rises, unafraid of sorrow.
Grief, cruel companion of life,
We learn to cope with your presence.
Finding the courage to carry on,
And pick ourselves up when all seems lost.
For in the darkest moments,
Resilience is forged and truth is found.
Dismay, you will not dictate our fate,
For the human spirit is indestructible.
