Your scent remains though now you walk alone,
Your loving presence lingers in my heart.
While distances our bodies may have shown,
Our souls shall never live so far apart.
I need not speak the words you know full well,
That in my inmost being you reside,
Your nurt'ring beauty tongues can not tell
The endless bliss for which my soul has cried.
Go if you must, your leaving won't untwine
The bond between us nothing can destroy.
Through good or ill, in darkness or sun's shine
Your memory will my every thought employ.
Time nor tide our love can e'er dissever,
In heart and soul united now forever.
