Thank you, but releasing it is not what was illegal, it was putting it in my boat to get my line off of it is what was illegal. I am not supposed to touch them. The same goes for land turtles that we call gopher turtles, they are always crossing roads and people stop and remove them from the road. To pick them up and move them off of the road is illegal. It is crazy how our laws are set up. In the eyes of the law, we are to leave them alone, even if it means something bad will happen to them. In my eyes, this is not right.
