But if I think in terms of black humour, it is possible that a person, because of the way they eat, could be considered a ‘vegetarian shark’ because of the amount of plant-based food they gorge themselves on.
I come to a literary licence that I haven't used in a while; calling someone a ‘vegetarian shark’ is technically an oxymoron (combining two opposing concepts). The shark is the alpha predator par excellence, associated with ferocity and meat consumption. By adding the adjective “vegetarian”, you create a mental image of someone who has the intensity and voracity of a predator, but directed exclusively at plants.

El tiburón es el depredador alfa por excelencia, asociado con la ferocidad y el consumo de carne. Al añadirle el adjetivo "vegetariano", creas una imagen mental de alguien que tiene la intensidad y la voracidad de un depredador, pero dirigida exclusivamente a las plantas.
