"You can't make it!" The words Beulah said to Jayden kept ringing in his head.

Beulah was his next door neighbor who was born with a silver spoon. She had everything she wanted in a twinkle of an eye and believed anyone without a rich parent or background couldnt achieve their dreams, hence her words to Jayden earlier that morning.

Jayden on the other hand was very poor and couldn't afford the necessities of life, but then he had big dreams that one day he'll be a graduate of a very prominent institution.

The only thing limiting him was funds but eventually the people surrounding him were not positive about his goals as well.

They belittled his ambition that he almost lost focus. He began to battle with a very low self-esteem that he became so comfortable in his comfort zone.

One morning, he came across a podcast on social media that encouraged everyone to chase their dreams regardless of how big it was.

He had a rethink and decided to change his circle of friends, he realized that success begins from the mind and the only thing that could limit a person was their mindset and lack of determination.

Although poor, he developed a rich mindset which was evident in everything he did.

He decided to get a better job which could help me save a little, he also did menial jobs on the side to support his hustle.

He began to save everyday and gradually the little drops of water became a mighty ocean. Three years later, Jayden could now afford to enroll in an alternative institution because he still couldn't afford the prominent institution he had in mind.

He did that as a part time students saving up to transfer to the institution of his dreams and a year and six months later, he was transferred to the institution of his dreams.

It was unbelievable for Beulah and others who doubted him. Jayden on the other side was determined to come out with honors and that dream came to pass.

Today Jayden is now a bonafide graduate of his dream institution with a certificate of his dream field.

As he walked into the institution to celebrate his graduation, a lot of emotions overwhelmed him. When the voice of Beulah echoed in his head, "you can't make it," He smiled, filled with pride and murmured.. "I made it!"

He couldn't wait to share his story to the crowd so that they too could be inspired to chase their dreams so matter how scary it was.

And of course, determination, hard work and good mindset was the fuel that triggered him to accomplish his goals.

His sacrifices paid off and he was happy he fought for his future, goals and ambition. Without a motivation, he would probably had given up on this goal because it looked beyond his reach.

One thing he couldn't stop telling anyone who cared to listen was that roadblocks could be for redirection and anyone who belittled our dreams isn't worth being around.

Beulah will probably be shocked to hear Jayden made it against all odds. That's how it should be, to prove the naysayers wrong and live a fulfilling life.

Jayden did the two most important things to achieve his dream, first, changing his circles of friends and then his mindset. That was enough push to where he wanted to be.

Very good that you have achieved your dreams.
