Solo soy humano | I am only human (ESP/ENG)

No soy Carver, ni Bukowski, ni Wilde.
No vivo entre los textos terroríficos de Poe,
Ni sueño las utopias de Marx,
No soy mas de lo que soy,
Aunque quizá sea mas de lo que escribo.

Quizá soy solo un poeta carente de escritura,
O un escritor que sueña con poesía,
Con la poesía de los viejos artistas que murieron por su arte
Si, quizá sea eso,
La muerte del arte en la mente de un romanticista empedernido
Que sueña con los días de gloria entre las penas de una sociedad decadente.

Quizá sea la muerte del poeta y el nacimiento de la poesía,
O tal vez, no soy ni poeta ni escritor,
Solo un terrestre sin tierra que sueña con las estrellas,
Para terminar estrellado delante de la sonrisa de una musa.

Termino existiendo luego de ser,
Y sin saber dejar de ser me termino perdiendo entre tanta existencia,
Te invito a encontrarme entre los versos trazados de una vida sin censura
Quizá termines perdiéndote en mi
Y yo perdiéndome en el reflejo de mis letras sobre tu mirada pensativa
Quizá termines conociendo quien soy
Y yo buscándome en tu mente
Con la esperanza de encontrarme
Con el sueño de ser mas humano.

I am not Carver, nor Bukowski, nor Wilde. I do not live among the terrifying texts of Poe, Nor dream the utopias of Marx, I am not more than what I am, Though perhaps I am more than what I write.

Maybe I'm just a poet lacking in writing,
Or a writer who dreams of poetry,
With the poetry of the old artists who died for their art.
Yes, maybe that's it,
The death of art in the mind of a die-hard romanticist
Who dreams of glory days amidst the sorrows of a decadent society.

Maybe it's the death of the poet and the birth of poetry,
Or perhaps, I am neither poet nor writer,
Just a landless earthling who dreams of the stars,
To end up starry in front of a muse's smile.

I end up existing after being,
And without knowing how to stop being, I end up getting lost among so much existence,
I invite you to find me among the traced verses of an uncensored life.
Maybe you end up getting lost in me
And me getting lost in the reflection of my lyrics on your pensive gaze.
Maybe you'll end up knowing who I am
And me searching for myself in your mind
In the hope of finding myself
With the dream of being more human.
