There are so many sad stories like this. We're in the midst of a moral panic - literally the American Cultural Revolution - there are thousands of people like this, perhaps tens of thousands and generations from now people will be shaking their heads at how this could have happened.
The same people that laugh and are disgusted by the Salem Witch Trials are leading the way with the trans movement.
See this? Twitter is full of interaction, but this (and many other Hive blockchain) posts do not have comments. Or only bot comments.
And some people feel personally offended, when I write that there is a lack of real, human comments on the Hive blockchain.
Yeah I personally think that bot comments are more akin to notifications and should be seen in some other format and 'commenting' is for humans only. I also wish it wasn't a 'comment' button too but an 'interact' button. That would be cool.
...
As for the screenshot,
Personal regret. Family/Healthcare Professional dynamics and ethics.
This is an individual person with their own backstory. Tragic as it is, I don't know the full situation and am uninterested in speculating. Not my business.
(I don't use Twitter anyway)
I don't see any connection to "liberal democracy" though.
How are the three powers in a democratic government, as practiced widely around the world; the legislative, the executive and the judiciary, responsible for this particular person's pain and suffering, or the wider sociological, cultural phenomenon to which this post is seemingly proffered in evidentiary connection?
The broad term "liberal democracy" would need to be defined and any potential connection between the resulting concept and this one person's experience would need to be articulated and backed up by evidence friend (OP)
I completely agree with this. This should be a proposal, and a part of one of the upcoming hardforks (HFs). The bots should get a separate section. The problem is the fact that currently it is hard to separate the bots from the humans on the blockchain level. Humans should get a way to confirm that they are humans. I currently do not have any other suggestion for this problem, but it could surely be solved somehow.
By the way, I recently bought some pizza tokens, and started reearding posts and comments with the pizza tokens.
I will probably focus on comments more to encourage interaction.
!PIZZA
@goingcrossroads! I sent you a slice of $PIZZA on behalf of @xplosive.

Haw! Nice. Thanks for the pizza 😎
I typically read a lot of hive posts but don't comment much.
I wrote the first tag. You will like it.

I think it's wise to separate the mechanics of representative democracy with the machinations of politics
Conflating these things creates more confusion than clarity
