Yep, I agree and for me it's just another red flag that human beings are off the rails and heading into oblivion. I mean, there's use cases for AI no doubt, but people rely on it when they don't have to (like the person who commented on this post and then unfollowed me as it was clear I didn't agree with her). Using AI to replace human thought and experience is a slippery slope...at the bottom is...
Don't know. Chaos and oblivion maybe?
Time to be modern equivalents to the Amish. We reject all technology from after about 2005, and dress in 90s fashions. In a generation or two, we are known as the Cult of Xennials. We get special government accomodations for our quaint anachronistic lifestyle.
Sweet!
To be honest, dressing like the 90's...I have the same sort of cowboy boots, jeans and t-shirts as the 90's and wear them still so not much changes for me.
And...I don't have to ask AI if anything I wear suits me...I use my brain.
Remember them? Brains? 🤔
I wonder if so many people have always lived as passive unthinking consumers, and the internet only revealed it to everyone. Now we get to see the village idiots of the world in our feeds every day. Case in point? I triggered a new spammer, or a new alt of one of the old spammers.
Yeah, it's a very interesting concept. I mean, stupidity has always been a thing. The weak minded have always sought to. Ut corners and find the easy way out, and have always defended that position...just like people defend their use of AI and declining use of their brain calling the result "productivity".
Village idiots indeed.
