I have a lot of business meetings at cafés and coffee shops, I'd say far more than I do in the company boardrooms...it's neutral ground and that leaves people feeling a little more comfortable and if the conversation doesn't flow there's always conversation starters around the place meaning no awkward silence. I tend to go back to the same cafés too as I know the owners and get better service and attention. I'm happy to explore someone where new though, I don't like living within boundaries.
Thanks for commenting, a good comment too although, you really should try and drink a little more water, it's good for you. 😁
I understand that these business meetings are more pleasant, more relaxed, and probably more successful, but I have never had a business, and I am not good at it (I have tried and seen my limits).
I don't know if you know about this popular belief that it's good to have children, so you have someone to give you a glass of water on your deathbed.
A joke goes something like this: a man on his deathbed, saying he's angry because he has lots of children and he's not even thirsty!
That's my problem too, I'm never thirsty. My health problems come primarily from my heart and my cardiologist keeps telling me to drink 2 litres of water a day.
Thanks for the advice, I try to do as you say!
I've heard that saying but can't recall where. It's a good one.
Water. I drink about 2-3 litres a day...love it.
That's great! Consider yourself my mentor in this regard. I want to follow your example and end up really liking... water.
It's just good for may aspects of health and while I'd probably like to drink other things sometimes, I change my attitude to like water.
I understand your attitude towards water.
