RE: Quick comment concept - Win stuff for a comment

Took my grandmother on a weekend trip to Malaysia. As the infrastructures are non-wheelchair-friendly, I had to push her around the streets along the roads. Nonetheless, it was a refreshing change of scenery for her after cooping up at home for such a long time.

That was so nice of you to take your Grandmother on a trip and do the extra work to get her around. Grandmother's are the best ! I wish mine were still here.

I appreciate your kind words 😊

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. However, I'm sure you have cherished memories of the time you spent together, and grandmothers truly hold a special place in our hearts! ✌️

I hope you feel proud of that walk you took to grandma. I congratulate you for this initiative to give him a necessary break. A hug for her and for you

I appreciate your kind words 😊

I'm simply trying to bring her some happiness, especially considering she's been mostly confined to a wheelchair since a fall a few years ago. I can't fathom being stuck at home all the time, so whenever I have the chance to take her out, I'm more than happy to do so! 🤗

Dear @ak08, you just got hugged.
I sent 1.0 HUG on behalf of @chacald.dcymt.

It is good to change the environment and air from time to time, especially for her. Greetings!😀

Yeah it definitely is! It's hard to imagine her continuing with just her daily routine while confined back at home. I believe this change of scenery is much needed for her, so I'm more than willing to do it again! 😁

So be it, it would not only help her but also you and share your time. It's great!❤️

Treasuring every moment I get to spend with her!
Thank you for dropping by and I appreciate these encouragements! 😊

I liked Malaysia. I stayed in KL and toured around a bit, visited the place in which my dad was born and lived through the Japanese occupation in World War Two. I did a lot of stuff there and enjoyed it. Hot and humid though. Too bad they don't have better disabled facilities though huh?

Yeah I love visiting Malaysia as well, feels like a good getaway for Singaporeans at least.
Weather wise, pretty much similar to how Singapore is, hot and humid.
But yeah, they are improving in terms of infrastructure but don't see it being elderly, handicapped friendly anytime soon! 😅

It's interesting to think of it because here disabled infrastructure is so prevalent...I guess Malaysia will catchup at some stage.

Yeah it is the same in Singapore as well.

Over the last couple of years, the government realizes a need for it and started upgrading all the infrastructures. Hopefully they get to it soon since there is really an increase need for it nowadays with an aging population especially!
