I hope you are well tonight. Tonight I want to show you a drawing made as the title already says with watercolors. The reason for that is that the electricity failed again so I have made him resort to my traditional implements.

This time and as the title says, they are not watercolor pencils, they are the watercolors themselves. I have taken the watercolors instead of what I used before because I have an adhesive tape to hold the canvas although the watercolors are a bit dry but with water ahahh so yes, I was able to work very well with them, I used a watercolor pencil and a bit of digital.

What did bother me a bit is the time to take the photos, because well I'm not a very good photographer, according to the direction and others it affects the final result, I also had to wait a bit like an hour for it to really dry the sheet well and return to its "original" state to have a decent result in the photo.

I have lost a step between this and the previous one since doing watercolors for me means experimenting, so I go little by little and do layer of color after layer of color to go from the softest to what would be a shadow, in this step I had about 3 layers in place and although things seem to be lost but say, there is a light at the end of the tunnel that gives meaning to everything.😋

After I had what the flower was and I had to wait a bit for the humidity of the canvas to normalize a bit, I went to place the first layers of what would be the girl's skin. By the way, I have helped myself with a hair dryer with cold air to speed up the drying process.

What is true is that these watercolor experiments do not take me as long as digital things take me because they perhaps have less detail and should even be faster, in my defense I have to be careful and that is what takes me so long since everything is with caution not to end up damaging what I just started. 😣😥
