Hello, hello!
Welcome to another art share episode—one that’s been a long, long time coming. First of all, season’s greetings! A combination of life events kept me away for a while, and I found myself fully immersed in reading a couple of novelas. There was also work, and the quiet but necessary task of keeping body, mind, and soul at peace.
I also celebrated my birthday on the 12th of this month, which was lovely. It was, of course, my own sister—the only one capable of typing out my age while wishing me a happy birthday—who promptly sent me into a small existential crisis about where all the years have gone.
Still, we had pizza, juice, and wine, so all was well.
Also, somewhere along that timeline, I ate my own words about a certain place—simply because I missed chatting with artists and being part of an art community. Twitter is boring, Instagram is boring, Farcaster is extremely boring, and Hive isn’t even on my phone, so it’s not easily accessible on the go. Maybe that’s a real issue to fix. If I add Hive access to my phone, I could freely bombard this page with plants, food, bunbun, and all allied matters—and honestly, that sounds like a good plan.
Moving on, I finally picked up the tablet today and wrapped up this little painting/sketch. I took advantage of having the office mostly to myself… if you don’t count the secretary.
So that’s pretty much all I’ve got to show for the past 22 days of absence….. if you don’t count one small piece of animation I hope to clean up and share the heart of it.
