UTERUS

Hi Hive Friends, this is a new work that is half painted and intertwined and half digital.
I made this picture by inserting as a frame an outline of wefts formed by ropes, black tights and brindle fabrics. In the center, a woman as if swallowed by this filiform vortex almost an umbilical cord. I called it Uterus.
Maybe a nostalgia for when we were children, a return to the womb, a sense of protection, away from this world full of pitfalls or maybe after years of losing my mother I still miss her very much.
I like these swirls that are created with these filiform materials,then placed around like a prayer,
a bit like ancient carpets.

Ciao amici di Hive, questo è un lavoro metà dipinto e intrecciato e metà digitale.
Ho realizzato questo dipinto inserendo un contorno di trame formate da corde, collant neri e tessuti tigrati come una cornice. Al centro una donna come se fosse inghiottita da questo vortice filiforme quasi un cordone ombelicale. L'ho chiamato Utero.
Forse nostalgia di quando eravamo bambini, un ritorno nel grembo materno, un senso di protezione, lontano da questo mondo pieno di insidie o forse dopo anni che ho perso mia madre sento ancora molto la sua mancanza.
Mi piacciono questi vortici che si creano con questi materiali filiformi, messi poi a contorno come una preghiera un po' come antichi tappeti.
