I wanted it to be a surprise, so I took the photo from her WhatsApp profile, which is why the quality is poor, but it will serve as a guide for the drawing.
I also took the liberty of not making it exactly the same as the photo. There are details that I know because I know her in person. You could say that the illustration is a mixture of this reference and the version of her that I have in my mind, haha.

Quería que fuera una sorpresa por lo que tome la foto de su perfil de whatsapp, por eso la baja calidad de la misma, pero me servirá como guía para el dibujo.
también me tome la libertad de no hacerla exactamente igual a la foto hay detalles que conozco porque la conozco en persona, se podría decir que la ilustración es una mezcla de esta referencia y la versión de ella que tengo en mi mente jeje.

Process/Proceso

In its basic form, it's not very complicated; it's a frontal portrait. I usually put the reference photo in a small size to guide me a little better. Here I should mention that I did the hair very lightly, that is, I didn't pay much attention to detail because I had in mind to do it with a curling brush. I discarded this idea later because I didn't like the result and modified the hair to how I remember it being naturally.

En la forma básica no tiene mucho misterio, es la de un retrato en vista frontal. suelo poner la foto de referencia en pequeño para guiarme un poco mejor. aqui debo decir que el cabello lo hice muy ligeramente, es decir no le preste mucho detalle porque tenia en mente hacerlo con un pincel de rizos, esta idea la descarte mas adelante porque no me gustaba el resultado y modifique el cabello a como recuerdo es el cabello naturalmente de ella.

We apply the base color. In this case, I used the dropper to select what I consider to be the base color of the reference image in order to achieve something similar.

Aplicamos el color base, en este caso fui tomando con el gotero lo que considero es un color base de la imagen de referencia para lograr algo parecido.

For the skin, I did something similar to the base color. I took some samples from the photo with an eyedropper. I usually use my color palettes, but I wanted to try something different to see what the result would be. I really like the result without blurring.

Damos detalle al fondo, en la original ella esta en un bus de camino a casa, yo quiero hacer algo diferente.
Para la piel hice algo similar a lo del color base tomé algunas muestras de la foto con gotero, normalmente uso mis paletas de colores pero quería practicar algo diferente a ver que resultado tengo, me gusta mucho el resultado sin difuminar.

Before continuing with the clothing, I made several passes over the skin, highlighting the lights and small details such as the shine in certain parts of the eyes, nose, etc. Here I modified the hair because I didn't like the result with the curl brush and I felt it had too much volume.

Antes de continuar con la ropa hice varias pasadas por la piel, resaltando las luces y pequeños detalles como el brillo en ciertas partes de los ojos nariz etc. aqui modifique el cabello pues el resultado con el pincel de rizos no me gustaba y siento que estaba con mucho volumen.

After finishing the lips and lenses, I wanted to make some crystals, but I didn't want them to be too noticeable, so I applied transparency and the desaturate effect—I think that's what it's called. I tried several until I got one that looked nice. I also added more sparkles to enhance that effect, but on a different layer.

al terminar los labios y lentes, quise hacer unos cristales pero que no se vieran tanto asi que le aplique transparencia y el efecto desaturar " creo que se llama asi fui probando varios hasta conseguir uno que se viera bonito" tambien le agregue mas brillos para mejorar ese efecto pero en otra capa diferente.

Finally, I checked the small details such as moles and freckles, and also made a small correction to the overall color tones using another program called “Corel.” Here is the result:

Amigos llegamos al final espero les haya gustado, este tipo de dibujos me gustan mucho pues me da la libertad de intentar cosas diferentes, una mezcla de mis dibujos a lápiz y arte digital tal vez. se que tiene errores y hay formas mas eficientes de hacerlo pero bueno ahí vamos aprendiendo.
