Process/Proceso

To begin with, let's see what materials we will use.
I don't have black cardboard, or a black canvas, but we made one using white cardboard and black paint.
This type of paper does not go very well with liquids so we will let it dry overnight.

Para iniciar veamos que materiales usaremos.
No tengo cartulina color negro, o un lienzo de color negro, pero fabricamos uno usando una cartulina blanca y pintura color negro.
Este tipo de papel no va muy bien con los líquidos por lo que dejaremos secar toda la noche.

A small cameo of the chalks we are going to use.

Un pequeño cameo de las tizas que vamos a usar.

On the canvas we prepared, we make the final sketch, I avoid making the final sketch directly but in this opportunity I was not going to be able to erase everything.
Or so I thought, I really liked the result, I was considering just using the chalks, but I already had some paint prepared and I didn't want to lose it.

Sobre el lienzo que preparamos, hacemos el boceto final, evito hacer el boceto final directamente pero en esta oportunidad no iba a poder borrar del todo.
O eso pensaba, realmente me gusto muchísimo el resultado estaba considerando solo usar las tizas, pero ya tenia algo de pintura preparada y no quería perderla.

I have some prepared paint left from my previous work, for the rest we prepare a little bit taking into account the estimated amount we will use.

Me queda algo de pintura preparada de mi trabajo anterior, para el resto preparamos un poco teniendo en cuenta la cantidad estimada que usaremos.

We apply the color, in several layers, I must let it dry a little before applying more paint.

Aplicamos el color, en varias capas, debo dejar que seque un poco antes de aplicar mas pintura.

This was the result, now we will let it dry very well before continuing.

Este fue el resultado, ahora dejaremos secar muy bien antes de continuar.

Once dry, I tried to draw again with the chalk the face of the character, luckily I took pictures and was able to reconstruct it almost identically, I also reinforced it with a little 10B pencil.

Una vez seco, intente dibujar nuevamente con la tiza el rostro del personaje, suerte que tome fotos y pude reconstruirlo casi idénticamente, también lo reforcé con un poco de lápiz 10B.

We apply the details with the chalks, we must mix the colors and then blend them with the brush.
After this we reinforce again with more chalk.

Aplicamos los detalles con las tizas, debemos mezclar los colores y luego difuminamos con el pincel.
Seguido de esto reforzamos nuevamente con mas tiza.

When we finish applying details on the clothes also with the same technique, we reinforce the dark tones with a little chalk.

Al terminar de aplicar detalles en la ropa tambien con la misma técnica, reforzamos los tonos oscuros con un poco de tiza

To finish we reinforced the details with black paint, and emulated my signature logo with some chalk, it looked similar, don't you think?

Para finalizar reforzamos los detalles con pintura negra, y emulamos mi logotipo de firma con algo de tiza, quedo parecido, ¿no creen?
