The character I took as a reference was , which I found while browsing the game cards and I found it interesting, so he was the one and chosen for this week's #fanart.

El día de hoy vengo nuevamente con un nuevo dibujo para el #socialmediachallenge de esta semana, el cual comparto siempre por mi cuenta de Twitter. El personaje que tome como referencia fue , el cual encontré dando una vuelta por las cartas del juego y me pareció interesante, así que fue el indicado y escogido para el #fanart de esta semana.

I started with the sketch first and focused on making the character only the face, since what most caught my attention from the original illustration was the face or the head, because the character is a kind of humanoid octopus, which I love the truth. I looked for many octopus references on the internet, so that they would serve as inspiration when making the sketch. The final result of the sketch was very good to tell the truth, I had the impression that I was not going to do it well, but it was the opposite.

Comencé con el boceto primeramente y me enfoque en hacer el personaje solo del rostro, ya que lo que mas me llamaba la atención de la ilustración original era el rostro o la cabeza, porque el personaje es una especie de pulpo humanoide, lo cual me encanta la verdad. Busque muchas referencias de pulpos en internet, para que así me sirvieran de inspiración a la hora de hacer el boceto. El resultado final del boceto quedo muy bien a decir verdad, tenia la impresión de que no lo iba a hacer bien, pero fue todo lo contrario.

When I finally finished doing the sketch, the next thing I had to do was start with the color work. The color palette that I use is taken as a reference from the original character, having a somewhat cold color palette, since it mainly has colors like purple, both dark and light, and gray tones, very cold to tell the truth, so it was the one that take as reference. In my drawing I did not use gray at all, because I wanted my work to have more saturation or to be more vivacious in terms of colors, so I completely ruled out working or integrating gray in my drawing.

Cuando al fin termine de hacer el boceto, lo siguiente que me tocaba hacer era comenzar con el trabajo de color. La paleta de color que use la tome de referencia del personaje original, teniendo una paleta de color un tanto fría, ya que tiene colores como morado principalmente, tanto oscuro como claro y tonalidades grises, muy fría a decir verdad, así que fue la que tome como referencia. En mi dibujo no use el gris para nada, porque quería que mi trabajo tuviera mas saturación o fuese mas vivaz en cuanto los colores, así que descarte por completo el trabajar o integrar el color gris en mi dibujo.

After having been working on the color for a while and realizing that it didn't require more, I went to rest for a while and then came to work on the final details. You know very well that the final details in my drawings are three simple things; the linear, shadows and highlights, so it was what I was working calmly to culminate with the drawing. I thought this drawing wouldn't be a big deal, but I'll be honest, I loved this drawing so much, more than others that I've done hahaha.

Luego de haber estado trabajando el color por un buen rato y fijarme en que no requería más, me fui a descansar un rato para luego venir a trabajar los detalles finales. Ustedes saben muy bien que los detalles finales en mis dibujos son tres simples cosas; el linear, sombras y brillos, así que fue lo que estuve trabajando tranquilamente para culminar con el dibujo. Creí que este dibujo no seria la gran cosa, pero les seré sincero, este dibujo me encanto tanto, más que otros que he hecho la verdad jajaja.
