Hello, today we continue drawing using prompts from our daily drawing app. The idea for today’s drawing was very simple, what if aliens, like humans, are not sure of our existence. So today’s prompt is: An alien becomes a fan of humans. As you can see, I decided to draw a classic alien with big eyes and green skin, wearing a T-shirt that shows his love for the human race. The alien is standing on top of his planet, with space in the background, full of stars. To make this drawing I used Ibis Paint from its Android app.

Hola, hoy continuamos dibujando usando prompts de nuestra aplicación de dibujo diario. La idea del dibujo de hoy era muy simple, qué pasaría si los aliens, como los humanos, no están seguros de nuestra existencia. Así que el prompt de hoy es: Un alien se convierte en fan de los humanos. Como ven, decidí dibujar un alien, el clásico alien de ojos grandes y piel verde, usando una T-shirt que demuestra su amor por la raza humana. El alien está situado encima de su planeta, de fondo el espacio, lleno de estrellas. Para realizar este dibujo utilicé Ibis Paint desde su aplicación Android.

I started first with a simple sketch to place the elements and the composition of my drawing. I began with the head. The alien will have three eyes to see everything and a large antenna to capture all the signals that humans send. His T-shirt will be black and will have a human drawn on it, because if we wear T-shirts with aliens, why can't aliens wear T-shirts with humans. Our alien will wear short shorts and very classic sneakers with white socks. The planet will be simple, just the surface, and I will make three big stars. The rest I will make with a white brush.

Comencé primero por un boceto simple para ubicar los elementos y la composición de mi dibujo. Comencé por la cabeza. El alien tendrá tres ojos para mirarlo todo y una gran antena para capturar todas las señales que los humanos le envían. Su T-shirt será de color negro y tendrá un humano dibujado, porque si nosotros usamos T-shirts de aliens, por qué los aliens no pueden usar T-shirts de humanos. Nuestro alien usará short corto y unos sneakers muy clásicos con calcetines blancos. El planeta será simple, solo la superficie, y haré tres grandes estrellas. Las demás las haré con un pincel blanco.

Then I started doing the lines of my drawing to color it later. I really liked how the lines turned out.

Después me puse a hacer las líneas de mi dibujo para después colorearlo. Me gustó mucho cómo quedaron las líneas.

I started by coloring the alien’s skin green. I will add some darker spots, as well as lights and shadows. I really liked how the skin turned out overall.

Comencé por colorear de verde la piel del alien. Le haré unas manchas más oscuras, y las luces y sombras. Me gustó mucho cómo quedó en general la piel.

Now I will make the clothes, all very classic. Black for the T-shirt, and blue for the shorts.

Ahora le haré la ropa, todo bien clásico. Negro para la T-shirt, y azul para los pantalones cortos.

Now I will do the rest of the character’s details, and I will add some highlights and some lights and shadows. In general, the character turned out very nice.

Ahora haré el resto de detalles del personaje, y agregaré algunos reflejos y algunas luces y sombras. En general, el personaje me quedó muy bonito.

This is how my drawing turned out, with the background and the stars completed. All that remains is to place the text in the speech bubble and add some color adjustments to highlight certain areas. I really enjoyed making this drawing, and I really enjoyed creating this alien enthusiastic about humans. I hope you also liked this drawing and the blog about the process. Así quedó mi dibujo con el fondo realizado y las estrellas. Solo me queda colocar el texto en la burbuja de diálogo y agregar algunos ajustes de color para realzar zonas. Me gustó mucho hacer este dibujo, y me gustó mucho realizar el dibujo de este alien entusiasta de los humanos. Espero que a ustedes también les haya gustado este dibujo y el blog del proceso.
