¡Hola amigos, bienvenidos nuevamente a mi blog! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un fan art de uno de los personajes de mi serie favorita "The Walking Dead".
Se trata de un pixel art de Sophia. Sophia era una niña que en medio del apocalipsis zombi junto con su madre Carol formaban parte de un grupo de sobrevivientes y en un intento desesperado por escapar de una horda de estas aterradoras criaturas Sophia se separa de su grupo y se extravia en el bosque, desencadenando una búsqueda que terminó en un trágico final, regalandonos uno de los momentos más conmovedores y triste de la temporada número 2 de la serie.
Hello friends, welcome back to my blog! Today I want to share with you a fan art of one of the characters from my favorite series "The Walking Dead".
This is a pixel art of Sophia. Sophia was a girl who in the middle of the zombie apocalypse along with her mother Carol were part of a group of survivors and in a desperate attempt to escape from a horde of these terrifying creatures Sophia gets separated from her group and gets lost in the forest, triggering a search that ended in a tragic end, giving us one of the most touching and sad moments of season 2 of the series.
En cuanto a la ilustración como mencioné anteriormente fué hecha al estilo pixel art, en ella podemos apreciar el rostro completo del personaje y la parte de los hombros en donde vemos la mordida que la infectó del virus zombi.
Así que tomando de referencia una captura de pantalla que hice directamente de la serie realicé este boceto, el cual esta conformado con pixeles negros y gruesos.
As for the illustration as I mentioned above was made in pixel art style, in it we can see the full face of the character and the part of the shoulders where we see the bite that infected her with the zombie virus.
So taking as a reference a screenshot I took directly from the series I made this sketch, which is conformed with black and thick pixels.
En cuanto al coloreado empecé principalmente coloreando el rostro, cuello y hombros, asi que agregué una base de color a toda esa zona, poco a poco fui añadiendo las sombras, las cuales le dieron profundidad a la expresión que tenia la niña en su cara, ademas de agregarle unas luces muy suaves. Luego continué con el cuello y los hombros y usando el mismo procedimiento coloree el cabello y la ropa.
As for the coloring I started mainly coloring the face, neck and shoulders, so I added a base color to all that area, little by little I added the shadows, which gave depth to the expression that the girl had on her face, besides adding some very soft lights. Then I continued with the neck and shoulders and using the same procedure I colored the hair and clothes.
