i started out making NFTs as purely artsy images, but i started to notice the projects doing generative art and especially geared towards PFPs (which i still have a hard time not thinking "pound for pound", since "avatar" is how i usually reference something that isn't actually a photo OF the person on the account) seemed to be the ones that people cared about, at least that was my initial impression over where i minted my first NFTs. so i decided i would make what started as kind of a joke series of NFTs, where i always start with the same base photo of myself and then i would add "traits" to it, so they ~could~ be used as PFPs.
now i do them a little more seriously, but still a bit tongue-in-cheek in terms of how i write the descriptions to go with the image.
these nfts are minted on the DeSo blockchain, i'll include links to them, one of them has sold, but i'm not posting these here in order to try to attract buyers. i just wanted to share the images and the text that i write with them.
the ones i'm showing in this post are #007 and #008 in the series.
#006 has not actually been minted yet, and was recently whitelisted to be going into space, which is super cool (i really wanted something included in their mission that has a piece of Carl Sagan's legacy, and that's what I did and I think my passion for it is what secured me the spot since most other NFTs on the mission are parts of legit NFT projects) - after i mint it i would love to share it, as it absolutely fits since the image is of the KitClout in space and being potentially being met by aliens! i also will be making a "mutated" version of the NFT after it goes into space (on Feb 15) to show what the cosmic rays have done to it.

#008 fits better in terms of the community so i will show her first

the idea came from a silly tweet i made about the next one of the nfts coming "tomorrow" and i just for no reason say "judgment day" - from that, i decided to give it a very terminator-esque look. i used my ipad + pencil to draw basic outlines for some of the terminator pieces, and a combination of photoshop and topaz studio to fill them in. i originally wanted the sunglasses on, since that's a classic look to me from t2: judgment day, but didn't want to hide the robotic red eye.
the description really plays off the influence, it references the founder of the DeSo blockchain (who for some reason was pseudonymous for a long time as "diamondhands" - weirdo lol) but it's not anything that needs much more detail than that to let it be understood:
KitClout TonguesOut #008
It's judgment day and it's time for the newest in this Limited NFT Series. It's your nature to destroy things, but the resistance has sent this KitClout back through time to help YOU protect the $DeSo blockchain from the evil Foundation. She's sporting a sawed-off KitChester 1337 and has an eye for your PFP slot. Together you will destroy the one made of liquid diamonds and take the keys to the blockchain from his wicked diamond hands. Hasta la vista @nader - your killer app has arrived, and your evil plans have been terminated~
and now #007 which is almost meme-ish in nature, but hopefully still enjoyable by people of all ages

tyga, who i think makes music, has an account on the DeSo blockchain (though it's not run by him, doesn't really matter for this). i decided to make myself into a version of him. his neck tattoos are of california and the other quote of course says "only God can judge me", but i made my own. i thought the idea of someone just having a piece of pizza with the exclamation of "PIZZA!" as a neck tattoo was funny.
KitClout TonguesOut AllDrippedOut Limited SE #007
(#006 is away at the moment)
This special edition of the Limited NFT Series is now out, always dripped out, and all grown up after some obstacles tried to get in her way! When you hear this girl purr, make no mistake, she's about to pounce! Sporting some of the finest sunglasses, hair lookin' real tight, tattoos on the neck, and a blunt in her right! Think you can catch her? You'll have to get her by her toe, try to keep up, and don't look her in the eye! Or get ready for the thrill of the fight!
the text of course is meant to point someone to knowing who it's about, without directly referencing tyga.
when i share my space mission version, i'll show one of the earlier versions of the nft also, because i really tried to sell the fact that i was mocking nft PFP projects more with them. talking about "rare traits" and "false promises of parties and profit sharing".
i hope you enjoy seeing these, i am not interested in simply posting my same content from where i minted these nfts, i am providing a lot more detail here that was never posted there, as what you're seeing on those links i provided (and in the quoted text, you won't actually see more at the link other than what i list the nfts for and if it has sold, and any comments it received) is all that i really say there with the nft when it's posted.
also, this is an intermediary image i used in the creation of #008, that i have never posted online anywhere.
(i wasn't sure the best way to post this where it might be able to reach other tags btw, like i saw there is this #creativecoin tag - if it doesn't work the way i did it, by posting TO the Alien Art Hive community directly, would it have been better to post it to my blog, and tag the post as #alienarthive and/or #hive-158694 along with any other tags i wanted? thx!!~)
ty for reading and looking at my images!
