Hello Aliens and Splinterlands I decided to go and draw a fanart of Satha Toledo since she is a cool-looking archer, my first role in a MOBA is dps or marksman so I think that is one of the reasons I chose her as my subject for this artwork. I've been grinding a lot with my skills in lineart lately and when I should put emphasis on it or not. By the way I am a big fan of both Mushoko Tensei and Frieren's art style as well as the series too so if you might notice my art style is heavily influenced by those two masterpiece. Okay enough of that intro!
ART PROCESS...
Reference: https://www.splintercards.com/rebellion_core_satha-toledo
- Starting with a blue lines for the rough draft, I imagined her to be in a pose of shooting the arrow.
Now for the clean lineart is I always used black color and always in this process in clipstudio paint I increase the stabilization.
Then remove or turnoff the first layer and check for some errors in your lineart, it is advisable to close all the shapes as needed but there are a lot of tools in cs paint that you could opt to use for circumstances like these.
Now I started painting the base colors , similar to the original design or reference of Satha Toledo.
1st step base colors | 2nd step base colors |
3rd step base colors | 4th step base colors |
- Now I started shading our pretty marksman Satha! It took me a lot of time in this process since there's a lot of layers I needed to isolate ofcourse since I am not at that pro level yet!
1st step shading | 2nd step shading | 3rd step shading |
4th step shading | 5th step shading | 6th step shading |
- From here on out is the highlights and background process!
Grabi ang dami na shading ni insan na mekus mekus na lahat lahat ang galeng!✨
salamat master mekusmekus 🤣
