Hey, what's up? After some days, It's time to post. Have been a busy week, so I have not been much active here. But that doesn't mean I have nothing new to offer!

Today there is not much to say about the artworks themselves, as I just used several techniques that has been commented often in my posts. So instead I'll focus in all the updates related to the notebooks.

First of all, I have decided to host some more notebooks, you also can find them in the notebook's list in the footer of my posts.

The Diffusion notebooks are from a different kind of the VQGAN ones. The results are beautiful, and superior in the right hands. I would like to give some tips of how to use them, but at the moment I didn't get the right flow to pull out all its potential. I have choose the Uncond versions, as they seems to give more polished and accurate results. They are like the MSE version for VQGANs. Sadly, the 512x512 version needs a P100 (16Gb Ram GPU). I'm planning to add the option of make a video, eventually.

About the fancy and awesome notebooks for portraits with Stylegan3, I'm providing two notebooks, as there is not much else in the internet, yet. The demo is what it is, you can play with a couple of sliders and make some morphing videos. It has not CLIP, so sadly we can't talk to Stylegan there. But, we have also the one that comes with CLIP, the whole notebook is very basic but it does the job. And now also does videos!

So yes, I managed to implement it, botchily, as my coding skills are basic, but it works. So after do your run, a video will be created automatically and you are gonna be asked to download it. It comes with modern codecs, so unlike in other notebooks, the videos will run perfectly in mobile devices.

By the way, as while implementing this, had noticed that the MSE notebook was using ancient codecs, so I removed the video system there and implemented the one from the Original Enhanced notebook, so now its videos also run properly in any device.

I have wanted to do the same with the notebook with video features. In fact it comes with proper codecs. But there is an extra option to rebuild the video with Slow Motion applied, and uses ancient codecs. Sadly they are not in the code of the notebook itself, they are hardcoded in the libraries that are downloaded when installing the module. So seems a tricky matter, at least for me. I'll try to find a fix for this, also eventually.

So you should remember, the notebook makes videos with modern codecs, and works in any device. But if you use the Super-Slomo extra feature, you gonna face the codecs issue. At the moment, you can do as me. Use this Video Converter webpage that coverts a video to whatever you need. You just need to choose convert to MP4, and they will do it for you.

I'm also planning to implement upscaling features to the notebooks, so will be possible to make videos at high resolution in a future, as is already possible in the one with Video Features. But as the others plans I mentioned, it will happen eventually. Right now "real life" is keeping me busy.

Hola, ¿qué tal? Después de unos cuantos días, ya toca publicar. He estado bastante ocupado durante la semana, así que no he estado muy activo por aquí. Pero eso no quiere decir, ¡que no tenga nada nuevo que ofrecer!

Hoy no tengo mucho que decir sobre las imágenes, sólo he usado varias técnicas de las que he hablado a menudo en mis publicaciones. Así que en vez de eso, me enfocaré en todas las actualizaciones que le he hecho a los notebooks.

Lo primero, es que he decidido alojar unos cuantos notebooks más, también los puedes encontrar en el pie de mis publicaciones.

Los notebooks de Difussion son distintos de los basados en VQGAN. Da unos resultados muy bonitos, superiores en las manos adecuadas. Me gustaría dar algunos consejos de cómo usarlos, pero de momento, no he logrado sintonizarme con ellos, como para sacarles todo su potencial. He escogido las versiones Uncond, ya que parecen dar resultados más pulidos y precisos. Son como lo que sería la versión MSE para los que van con VQGAN. Tristemente, la versión de 512x512 necesita una P100(16GB ram GPU). Estoy planeando añadirles la opción de hacer videos, un día de estos.

Acerca de los maravillosos notebooks para retratos con Stylegan3, os traigo dos, de momento no hay mucho más donde elegir en internet. La Demo es lo que es, una demo en la que puedes jugar con un par de parámetros y hacer transiciones. No viene con CLIP, así que por desgracia, no podemos hablarle a Stylegan. Pero también está el notebook con CLIP, es muy básico, pero cumple con su función. Y además, !ahora hace videos!

Sí, me las he ingeniado para implementarlo, chapuceramente, ya que mis nociones de programación son bastante básicas, pero funciona. Así que después de hacer una ronda, el video se crea automáticamente y el notebook te preguntará si lo quieres descargar. Los videos están comprimidos con codecs modernos, así que al contrario que en otros notebooks, los videos se reproducirán correctamente en dispositivos móviles.

Por cierto, mientras estaba implementando esto, me di cuenta de que el notebook MSE estaba usando codecs de la antigüedad, así que he quitado el sistema de video y lo he sustituido con el que lleva el Enhanced Original, así que ahora los videos se pueden ver bien en cualquier dispositivo.

También he querido hacerle lo mismo al notebook con Video Features. De hecho, viene con unos codecs que son apropiados. Pero hay una opción extra, pare re hacer el video con Slow Motion, pero usa codecs muy antiguos. Por desgracia, los codecs no están en el notebook si no en el código de las librerías que se descargan al instalar este módulo. Así que se ve complicado de solucionar, al menos para mí. En algún momento intentaré encontrar una solución a esto.

Así que debéis recordar que el notebook hace videos con codecs modernos, y funciona en todos los dispositivos. Pero si usáis la opción extra Super-Slomo, te encontrarás con el problema de los codecs. De momento, puedes hacer lo mismo que yo. Usar esta página Video Converter para convertir tus videos a lo que sea que necesites. Tan solo has de elegir convertir a MP4, y ellos lo harán por ti.

También tengo planeado implementar escalado a los otros notebooks, así en un futuro será posible hacer videos a alta resolución, al igual que ya se puede en el notebook Video Features. Pero como todos los planes que he ido nombrando, los iré haciendo de vez en cuando. Ahora mismo "la vida real" me está teniendo muy ocupado.
