Sculpting as my hobby

Very welcome to all of you Hivers.
I'm going to tell you about my hobby, namely sculptural badges and collectible magnets which are created by myself.
In addition to drawing concepts for games, I really like to sculpt from sculpture plasticine various characters, similar to those from outstanding films and cartoons. In this post showing you one of them, this is a symbiote character in black and red. Generally, to make one, I first draw a sketch of character I want to sculpt, this is for inspiration before sculpting, although there are already many illustrations on the Internet.
In the next step, I shape the main volumes on wooden plank, these are basic forms of character and add final details.
In order to paint this sculpture, I make a silicone mold into which I pour a specific plastic so that the sculpture is solid. Then I clean the surface, dry it and paint with acrylic paints. Miniature painting it's another very interesting process that relaxes you and I recommend trying it.

Сьогодні трохи розповім вам про моє хоббі, а саме скульптурні значки й колекційні магнитики.
Окрім малювання артів до ігор, мені дуже подобається ліпити зі скульптурного пластиліну різних персонажів, схожих на героїв з видатних фільмів й мультфільмів.
В цьому пості покажу одного з них, це персонаж симбіот Чорний й Червоний.
В більшості випадків, я спочатку малюю того персонажа, якого хочу зліпити, це для натхнення перед ліпленням з пластиліну, хоча вже й так є багато зображень в інтернеті.
Потім я формую головні об'єми на деревяній дошці, тобто основні форми й доліплюю деталі.
Для того щоб можна було розфарбувати скульптуру, я роблю силіконову форму, в яку заливаю спеціальний пластик, щоб скульптури були тверді.
Потім очищую поверхню, висушую й роблю розпис акриловими фарбами.
Розпис мініатюри, це ще один дуже цікавий процес, який дуже заспокоює і який я рекомендую кожному спробувати.
