Estoy nuevamente con ustedes comenzando esta semana un poco más centrada en dibujar, y comparto mi participación de la semana para el concurso de @Splinterlands, haciendo una representación de la carta BLACKMOOR TRICKSTER de la colección de #Rebellion que me llama mucho la atención varios de los personajes y como les he venido contando, pues este es uno de ellos, y es que este personaje me recuerdan mucho a leyendas de la cultura de mi país, que es bastante sombría. Y para este sátiro utilicé tonos oscuros los cuales siento que me van bien trabajarlos, realizando un escenario frío y lúgubre por donde pasea. I am again with you starting this week a little more focused on drawing, and I share my entry of the week for the @Splinterlands contest, making a representation of the card BLACKMOOR TRICKSTER from the #Rebellion collection that draws my attention to several of the characters and as I have been telling you, this is one of them, and this character They are very reminiscent of legends from the culture of my country, which is quite somber. And for this satyr I used dark tones which I feel are good for me to work with, creating a cold and gloomy scene where he walks. Join me and enjoy telling you about my experience.🙂👋🎨✌️

Etapas del Dibujo/Drawing Stages
Desde el primer trazo, supe que este dibujo para Splinterlands sería especial. Comencé con una brocha lápiz, delineando cuidadosamente el boceto hasta que cada línea tuvieran la esencia del personaje. Luego, en una nueva capa, apliqué colores fríos, para posteriormente crear una atmósfera mística que se ajustara perfectamente al escenario de un cementerio antiguo, abandonado y helado que estaba imaginando. Seguí con pinceladas meticulosas, añadíendo sombras y puntos de luz, difuminando y mezclando para suavizar los trazos y dar profundidad al dibujo. El pelaje de la parte inferior requería una atención especial, así que utilicé una brocha dura y con paciencia difuminé los bordes añadiendo tonos más claros para resaltar la textura y el volumen.
From the first stroke, I knew this drawing for Splinterlands would be special. I started with a pencil brush, carefully outlining the sketch until each line had the essence of the character. Then, on a new layer, I applied cold colors, to later create a mystical atmosphere that fit perfectly with the setting of an old, abandoned and frozen cemetery that I was imagining. I continued with meticulous brush strokes, adding shadows and points of light, blurring and blending to soften the strokes and give depth to the drawing. The fur on the underside required special attention, so I used a stiff brush and patiently blended the edges, adding lighter shades to bring out the texture and volume.

Los accesorios eran un desafío, pero capa tras capa fui utilizando técnicas de mezcla normal, y fui construyendo cada detalle en varias capas. El tono azul se unio en armonía con la piel, y con un ajuste de color, transformé la capa del rostro para crear franjas que aportaran carácter al diseño, y para esto primero clone la capa del rostro. En cuanto a los ojos y la boca cobraron vida en una capa aparte, siguiendo el mismo método de mezcla, mientras que para el cabello, opté por una brocha dura que luego suavicé difuminando, agregando capas con tonos más claros para crear un efecto de profundidad y contraste que capturara la atención.
The accessories were a challenge, but layer after layer I used normal mixing techniques, and I built up each detail in several layers. The blue tone came together in harmony with the skin, and with a color adjustment, I transformed the face layer to create stripes that added character to the design, and for this I first cloned the face layer. As for the eyes and mouth, they came to life on a separate layer, following the same blending method, while for the hair, I opted for a hard brush that I then softened by blending, adding layers with lighter tones to create a depth effect. and contrast that captures attention.

El fondo oscuro y frío contrastaba con el personaje, y con cada pincelada las lápidas de cruces antiguas fueron tomando forma con varias capas con contrastes y luces, añadiendo un toque sombrío al escenario. La brocha tipo pelo fue la elección final para definir el cabello y una luz suave aplicada con poca opacidad realzó los colores y acentuó las sombras dando más vida al personaje. Al final, una capa adicional con método de mezcla añadir en los ojos fue el toque final que necesitaba. A pesar de la complejidad del personaje y la cantidad de objetos que incluía, me sorprendió gratamente que el uso de brochas duras me permitiera trabajar eficientemente en sus partes, reduciendo mi tiempo en los detalles.
The dark and cold background contrasted with the character, and with each brush stroke the ancient cross tombstones took shape with several layers of contrasts and lights, adding a somber touch to the setting. The hair brush was the final choice to define the hair and a soft light applied with little opacity enhanced the colors and accentuated the shadows, giving more life to the character. In the end, an additional layer with blending method added on the eyes was the finishing touch I needed. Despite the complexity of the character and the number of objects it included, I was pleasantly surprised that using hard brushes allowed me to work efficiently on its parts, reducing my time on details.

Crear este personaje fue una experiencia evocadora, recordándome a las leyendas venezolanas del chivato, seres misteriosos y con mucho toque sombrio que forman parte del folclore de mi tierra. Cada pincelada era un homenaje a esas historias que han fascinado a generaciones. Concluir este dibujo me llenó de satisfacción y orgullo. Agradezco sinceramente a todos los que apoyan y comparten mi trabajo. Es un honor contribuir al vibrante mundo de Splinterlands y espero que mi arte inspire tanto como las leyendas que me inspiraron a mí.

Creating this character was an evocative experience, reminding me of the Venezuelan legends of the chivato, mysterious beings with a lot of somber touch that are part of the folklore of my land. Each brushstroke was a tribute to those stories that have fascinated generations. Completing this drawing filled me with satisfaction and pride.
