The backgrounds and textures you achieve are really cool. I don't think a lot of people realize how tricky that can be. You make it come to life with the perspectives and textures that you add in such few applications. The simplicity of your images really accentuates the complexity of the art that goes into making this kind of ink work!

Sort:

The use of ink is always relentless, there is very little room for error in its execution. In fact, as you mention, not many people notice the complexity that this entails.

That is precisely what I love about ink, because only with very precise lines you must be able to communicate the message, Although to be honest what is still very difficult for me is drawing shadows, Shadows go hand in hand with the correct use of the light and also of the perspective when the shadow goes on a surface for example.

I appreciate your comment because you know what is behind of the effort that this takes.

Yes, ink is and can be VERY unforgiving! That is why i find it such a technical application and the skill of it shows itself off! Your minimalism in how much ink you use combined with the level of detail is really quite efficient in mastering the ink work! I salute you!

Thank you, I need to go to the next level. Someday I want to be like this man. Like a master. 😃

And once I read on his instagram that he wanted to be like this other man.

And so on...

Cheers 🍻

I have spent a lot of time just watching that guy work! It's incredibly amazing! I don't think you are as far away as it feels!
