I am so pleased to look at this painting, because it immediately remembers me the summer of 2021 in Bulgaria, on the Black Sea coast.
We went there as a group, my wife and two other friends were street musicians in an old Bulgarian town called Varna.
They filled the street with their beautiful music, and the hearts of passers-by with delight and warmth.
I felt every day in this resort town as an ocean of inspiration, as one continuous stream of creativity.
I photographed life on the streets, spending days exploring the old city, and painting in the evenings, waiting for my wife to return home from a playing ang singing on street.
I drew each parrot for one day, and it's funny to remember a certain day, to feel it, looking at one of the parrots.
Painting leaves was also like a meditation that I remember, to pleasant music, to the warm wind that refreshed me, looking into my evening window.
Everything in this painting is permeated with summer and love.
Why birds? Perhaps this is how I feel my happiness, under the summer sun and with good friends.
It's a kind of freedom.
Please share how your freedom can manifest itself in creativity, It's interesting for me to hear your stories of freedom :)

Definitely getting those summer vibes! Glad y'all got to have fun and enjoy your trip. I think it's an awesome idea to have one bird equal one day. That's a cool way to immortalize the memories.
