Ahoy Aliens! The fine Lions over at LeoFinance have just released !!!THREADS!!! and have invited the Aliens over to play π½
Threads are essentially micro-blogging, similar to twitter but on the HIVE blockchain. The new UI has just been released and while it's very bare bones at the moment it works like a charm. The Leo team will be evaluating feedback and updating and adding features over the next few weeks. The best thing about threads is that it won't clog up your blog (each thread is basically a comment) so you can post as many threads as you like while keeping it separate from the rest of your HIVE posts. This has a great possibility of onboarding more people to HIVE.
How to participate and earn LEO rewards
- Head over to https://alpha.leofinance.io/threads and login with keychain
- Make a thread
- Feel free to: Share some art, share a link to your newest post show a WIP, tease some upcoming work, project, shill your NFTs or just share your thoughts
- Use #alienarthive
- The Leo gang will be keeping an eye out for this # so they can upvote and reward you with some LEO tokens!

Welcome to #threads! I can emphasize enough that this is now a platform for anything you care to "thread" about. The more people who thread, the more exposure Hive gets, the more everyone on the platform wins. This has a chance to be the "Gateway" to Hive through easy onboarding and a massive user base. Post whatever you want. Your art, other peoples art, an interesting picture, an article you like, your dog, your cat, anything.
Along the way, you may collect some upvotes and start filling your bags. What could be better? Make sure to use the hashtag (#) so your thread can get categorized. You can also check the list of hashtags on the right, click on one that interests you, and just scroll through threads from that category. It's as easy as it gets.
