Neon — Hive

Saludos a todos Hoy me tome el día para dibujar y recordé que hace mucho tiempo que no hacia un retrato con diferentes colores morados, rosas al estilo neón, al final de mi dibujo decidí agregar otro tono extra que no estaba pensado pero que quedo bastante genial en combinación con los demás colores, me pareció interesante hacer esta vez un retrato a la mitad ya que normalmente hago retratos de rostro completo, fue muy divertido y cada vez se me hace mas facil combinar colores que no son demasiado “realistas” y aun asi obtener un buen resultado, espero que les guste

Today I took the day to draw and I remembered that it has been a long time since I did a portrait with different purple colors and pinks in neon style, at the end of my drawing I decided to add another extra tone that was not thought but it was pretty cool in combination with the other colors, I found it interesting to do this time a portrait in half since I usually do full face portraits, it was fun and every time I find it easier to combine colors that are not too “realistic” and still get a good result, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realicé el boceto y elegí los colores para trabajar, empecé agregando un color rosa de base y luego una gama de morados y rosas dejando luces y sombras claras en una capa, luego en otra capa empecé a añadir mas tonalidades para darle mejor estructura al rostro, poco a poco comencé a mezclar los colores dejando una piel suave, pero manteniendo la textura.

I made the sketch and chose the colors to work with, I started adding a pink base color and then a range of purples and pinks leaving lights and shadows in one layer, then in another layer I started adding more shades to give better structure to the face, little by little I began to mix the colors leaving a smooth skin but keeping the texture.

Pinte las cejas y pestañas, tambien le di más detalles al rostro para definirlo mejor, para el cabello coloque un color morado oscuro de base, y luego agregue luces y sombras con otra gama de morados, para este punto se me ocurrió colocar una lagrima de un color verde neón, me parece que combinaba bastante bien con los demás colores, agregue una nueva capa de luces donde comencé a dibujar puntos de luz en zonas del rostro que quería resaltar, finalice editando la imagen haciendo un ajuste de color dándole asi un tono mas frio.

I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes, I also gave more details to the face to define it better, for the hair I put a dark purple base color, and then I added lights and shadows with another range of purple, for this point I decided to put a tear of a neon green color, I think it combined quite well with the other colors, I added a new layer of lights where I began to draw points of light in areas of the face that I wanted to highlight, I finished editing the image making a color adjustment giving it a cooler tone.
