I'm just... tired

Hola chicos, hoy quiero compartir un nuevo retrato esta vez simplemente comencé a dibujar y deje que saliera un retrato de cualquier forma, realmente solo necesitaba dibujar, ahora mismo he estado un poco desanimada, esto me ayuda un poco, pero cada día es mas difícil pensar que podría hacer para representar mejor mi estado de ánimo, cuando estos bloqueos pasan solo me dejo llevar y normalmente vienen ideas sencillas, pero que al final en conjunto me gustan, en este retrato me gusta mucho la paleta de colores oscuras, me trae esa sensación de nostalgia que ahora mismo siento, quise ir por algo menos realista y mas rustico, haciendo trazos mas libres, estos son los que me ayudan a drenar un poco el estrés dando un resulto bueno pero sin tantos detalles, espero que les guste.

Hi guys, today I want to share a new portrait this time I just started to draw and let a portrait come out anyway, I really just needed to draw, right now I have been a little discouraged, this helps me a little, but every day is harder to think what I could do to better represent my mood, when these blocks pass I just let myself go and usually simple ideas come, in this portrait I really like the dark color palette, it brings me that feeling of nostalgia that I feel right now, I wanted to go for something less realistic and more rustic, making more free strokes, these are the ones that help me to drain a little stress giving a good result but without so many details, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Hice mi boceto y comencé a aplicar los colores, quise hacer todo el dibujo de tonalidades oscuras y cálidas, aplique tonos piel, sombras y luces, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle vida a este rostro, poco a poco mezclé todos los colores utilizando un pincel con textura para que la piel no luciese tan lisa sino que tuviese algunos detalles de “brochazos” pero sin exagerar. Luego apliqué el color al cabello y ropa, para los cuales también elegí tonos oscuros.

I made my sketch and started to apply the colors, I wanted to make the whole drawing in dark and warm tones, I applied skin tones, shadows and lights, in a new layer I added more colors to give life to this face, little by little I mixed all the colors using a textured brush so that the skin did not look so smooth but had some details of "brush strokes" but without exaggerating. Then I applied the color to the hair and clothes, for which I also chose dark tones.

La piel estaba lista pero aun faltaba detallar los grandes ojos que dibujé, entonces comencé a repasarlos para darle mejor forma, igualmente la boca, luego pinte las cejas y pestañas, al cabello, le coloque algunos reflejos de marrón claro para darle forma de ondas, para el fondo quería algo desordenado, así que tome colores del retrato y empecé a dar brochazos en el fondo, luego quise poner algo en el rostro así que simplemente me deje llevar y puse algunas marcas en el rostro y un maquillaje de ojos de tono verde que haría un contraste diferente, finalmente un ajuste de color aumentando la saturación las sombras y añadiendo algunos brillos.

The skin was ready but I still needed to detail the big eyes that I drew, then I started to go over them to give them a better shape, same with the mouth, then I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes, to the hair, I put some light brown highlights to give it a wave shape, for the background I wanted something messy, so I took colors from the portrait and started to brush on the background, then I wanted to put something on the face so I just let myself go and put some marks on the face and a green eye make up that would make a different contrast, finally a color adjustment by increasing the saturation of the shadows and adding some lighting.

Los dos brillos de las pupilas y de lo que, supongo son lágrimas, le dan una dimensión extra al lienzo. Las obras dramáticas me gustan. Esa rivalidad de luces tenues me encantó. Está para inspirarse y escribir
