This is the second time that I draw Countess sinash and this time I wanted to surpass the first time from which already passed more than a year ago, I like this card very much, aesthetically it is beautiful, however, something that has not allowed me to recreate it in different opportunities is to run into fire colors that normally are not easy for me to draw.
In spite of that, I made a lot of effort and had the necessary patience to better understand and transform these colors (which for me are a disadvantage) into an advantage, I took the path of using warm but desaturated colors and at the same time combining them with other more saturated colors where I wanted more lighting, I also took the risk of redesigning her wardrobe, but without losing the essence of that original costume, I turned the top into a complete body style outfit, bare legs with two belts on each side, boots and of course, the cape, I also changed the hair style, leaving it loose and more free, this time my representation is in a dark scenario that gives the feeling of lava everywhere, in her hand she holds a huge ball of lava and the other hand is completely normal, I really enjoyed this fan art and I love the final result, I hope you like it.
I made the sketch and choice of colors, I placed warm tones in the skin, browns, beige and cream, adding the lights and shadows, in a new layer I added more colors completely shaping the entire skin, I began to mix these colors to leave a fairly smooth skin, then I began to paint the clothes, starting with the boots to which I placed a dark brown and also the straps that go on the thigh.
I also added color to the cape and the suit, then I started to detail each garment little by little adding different colors and creating the lights and shadows, it took me quite some time for each of the garments but it was worth it, I liked how the whole outfit looked, I painted the hand with that lava effect, this was quite difficult because I felt that it deformed the hand a little, for the hair I used dark brown and illuminated with a lighter color to give it shape, in the background I also put a brown color and then I added oranges and yellows to make this background look like a dark sky, I also painted in the part where she is leaning to simulate the ground.
I added more details to the ground and then I started to paint an orange and yellow sphere, then I created a clipping mask where I started to draw with dark brown figures like stones, giving it that lava effect, then I added a layer where I added lights to certain areas of the face and body that I wanted to highlight, finally I edited the image giving it a little more saturation and clarity to the image I also added some dots that simulate ashes around it.
