It's another exciting week of the @splinterlands contest and my entry for this week is one of splinterlands amazing character known as "Medusa". It's my first time creating this character and I sacrificed a lot to put it up.

"Medusa" is one character I'm very familiar with, she's known for her super charming eyes which can automatically turn one to an image when staring at it fixedly. However, there's nothing to be scared of cause it's just an image of her, lol....

Creating the character, I had to study the image deeply to ensure that my drawing revolves around the original character. When I was done with that, I went into work using a blue pen to represent the whole idea on paper with the use hatching technique. I really laid emphasis on the character's eye's cause that's where her super powers lies.

One issue I had was what to engage its hands with but in the process of working, I came up with an idea to describe the image of the character as one holding a serpent. I would say this piece is a mixed-media art cause it's the combination of traditional and #digitalart. I do hope you'd love the result!
