Good day everyone and compliment of the season. I am @ximen66 and this would be my first time posting in the @theanimerealm community. I am more than delighted to be a part of this platform. Today, I want to talk about the anime that has influenced me, convinced me and changed my views about all anime's forever.
For a long time now, I keep on hearing about anime but I never really understood what it was all about or why everyone made a fuss about it. I was never a fan of anime. Not until one weekend, when my friends convinced and persuaded me to watch just one anime, and that I would fall in love with it. They recommended solo leveling for me to watch, and reluctantly I agreed. Now, did this anime meet my expectations? Was I completely swept off my feet by it? Did I fall in love with it? Well the answer is Yes! Yes! And yes!
This anime exceeded my expectations and changed my view about watching anime forever. Solo Leveling has forever turned me into an anime fan. The excitement, amazing visuals, and action it delivers is a whole other experience. I literally binge watched the whole anime. I couldn't take my eyes off of it for one second. That's how good it was.
Now unto the story. This anime is centered around hunters, gates, monsters and ranks. Now these hunters are individuals with special powers granted to them to help fight and combat monsters. The main character being Sung Jin-woo. A hunter labeled and seen by the world as weak. However, a series of events causes him to evolve and grow, subsequently becoming one of the greatest hunters with an unstoppable force. Mind you, Sung Jin-woo grows not only in power both in matters of destiny, morality and identity. All these shape the character he later becomes at the end.
One great thing I love about this anime is how it depicts the growth of characters. The power progression system imbibed in this anime is unlike any other. Here, different characters develop abilities and earn their strength through trials, and dangerous encounters. The pain and trials they face mould them into stronger characters. The system through which they level up is based on survival, hardship and real stakes. For me, I find it very satisfactory and real. Sung Jin-woo evolution from an E-rank hunter to an unstoppable force, showing his inner struggles and battle makes it more earned and relatable.
Now to the action aspect of this anime, I would say this anime delivers a hundred percent. Each fighting scene makes the hair on my skin stand. You can feel the tension, danger and the stakes involved. Every clash, so detailed and carefully played out. There are no feelings of repetitive moments here. But with each action and battle, you find yourself anticipating what happens next.
Also, I love the balance the anime brings. The smooth diversions from one fight scene to a serene calm scene of reflection. Some episodes might hang on a suspense, keeping you itching and eager to move onto the next, while the other can shed more light on Jin-woo's silent battles and struggles. The nice shift of mood, attention, and action throughout the movie makes it less monotonous and more versatile.
Solo Levelling is often admired for its mind blowing actions and combats but what really got to me was the diverse emotions sprayed out through the anime. The narrative about Jin-woo, watching him face and overcome his fears, responsibilities, and finally accepting his destiny, while removing self doubts is an undeniable compelling plot that not only keeps me engaged but brings out the emotional core of the movie. Watching him face his vulnerabilities is so touching and his final rise to victory makes it all the more sweeter.
I cannot go on without talking about the structure and pacing of this anime. Solo leveling has distinguished itself from many other animes in the aspect of how it never loses sight of the real plot of the story, no matter the thrilling actions and emotional resilience portrayed in the movie it still goes on giving the fan exactly and more of what to expect. The soundtrack and cinematography doesn't fail to meet up to expectations. I would say the visuals are just too stunning, the combat scenes are really good and detailed, each clash of the sword, roars of monsters, strike of lightning and explosion of power makes it even more thrilling and very addictive to watch. The way the dungeons are designed together with the creature inside of them is awesome. Solo leveling doesn't fail when it comes to the animation quality.
At the end, I give it a 10/10. This anime truly lived up to my expectations.
MI PRIMERA VEZ VIENDO ANIME – SOLO LEVELING
Buen día a todos y mis mejores deseos por la temporada. Soy @ximen66 y esta es mi primera vez publicando en la comunidad @theanimerealm. Estoy más que encantado de formar parte de esta plataforma. Hoy quiero hablar sobre el anime que me ha influenciado, convencido y cambiado para siempre mi forma de ver el anime.
Desde hace mucho tiempo he escuchado hablar del anime, pero nunca entendí realmente de qué se trataba ni por qué todo el mundo hacía tanto alboroto al respecto. Nunca fui fan del anime. No fue hasta un fin de semana cuando mis amigos me convencieron y persuadieron para ver solo un anime, asegurándome que me enamoraría de él. Me recomendaron Solo Leveling y, aunque con cierta reticencia, acepté. Ahora bien, ¿cumplió este anime mis expectativas? ¿Me dejó completamente cautivado? ¿Me enamoré de él? Bueno, la respuesta es: ¡sí! ¡Sí! ¡Y sí!
Este anime superó mis expectativas y cambió para siempre mi percepción sobre ver anime. Solo Leveling me convirtió definitivamente en fan del anime. La emoción, los increíbles visuales y la acción que ofrece son una experiencia completamente diferente. Literalmente vi toda la serie de una sola vez. No pude apartar los ojos de la pantalla ni por un segundo. Así de bueno fue.
Ahora, pasemos a la historia. Este anime se centra en cazadores, portales, monstruos y rangos. Estos cazadores son individuos con poderes especiales que les han sido otorgados para luchar y combatir monstruos. El personaje principal es Sung Jin-woo, un cazador etiquetado y visto por el mundo como débil. Sin embargo, una serie de acontecimientos provoca que evolucione y crezca, convirtiéndose posteriormente en uno de los cazadores más grandes y poderosos, con una fuerza imparable. Cabe destacar que Sung Jin-woo no solo crece en poder, sino también en aspectos relacionados con el destino, la moralidad y la identidad. Todo esto da forma al personaje en el que finalmente se convierte.
Una de las cosas que más me gustan de este anime es cómo retrata el crecimiento de los personajes. El sistema de progresión de poder incorporado en este anime no se parece a ningún otro. Aquí, los diferentes personajes desarrollan habilidades y ganan fuerza a través de pruebas y encuentros peligrosos. El dolor y las dificultades que enfrentan los moldean en personajes más fuertes. El sistema mediante el cual suben de nivel se basa en la supervivencia, la adversidad y riesgos reales. Para mí, esto resulta muy satisfactorio y realista. La evolución de Sung Jin-woo, de un cazador de rango E a una fuerza imparable, mostrando sus luchas internas y batallas, hace que su progreso se sienta merecido y cercano.
En cuanto al aspecto de la acción, diría que este anime cumple al cien por ciento. Cada escena de combate hace que se me erice la piel. Se puede sentir la tensión, el peligro y lo que está en juego. Cada enfrentamiento está cuidadosamente ejecutado y lleno de detalles. No hay sensación de repetición; con cada acción y batalla, uno se encuentra anticipando qué sucederá después.
También me encanta el equilibrio que aporta el anime. Las transiciones suaves entre escenas de lucha y momentos de calma serena y reflexión. Algunos episodios terminan en suspenso, dejándote ansioso y con ganas de continuar, mientras que otros profundizan en las batallas silenciosas y las luchas internas de Jin-woo. Este buen cambio de ánimo, atención y acción a lo largo de la serie la hace menos monótona y más versátil.
Solo Leveling suele ser admirado por sus impresionantes escenas de acción y combate, pero lo que realmente me impactó fue la diversidad de emociones que transmite. La narrativa sobre Jin-woo —verlo enfrentar y superar sus miedos, asumir responsabilidades y finalmente aceptar su destino mientras deja atrás las dudas sobre sí mismo— es una trama innegablemente cautivadora que no solo me mantiene comprometido, sino que también resalta el núcleo emocional de la historia. Verlo enfrentar sus vulnerabilidades es muy conmovedor, y su ascenso final hacia la victoria lo hace aún más gratificante.
No puedo continuar sin hablar de la estructura y el ritmo de este anime. Solo Leveling se ha distinguido de muchos otros animes por no perder nunca de vista la trama principal, sin importar cuán emocionantes sean las escenas de acción o la resiliencia emocional mostrada. Aun así, siempre ofrece a los fans exactamente —y más— de lo que esperan. La banda sonora y la cinematografía no decepcionen. Los visuales son simplemente impresionantes; las escenas de combate están muy bien logradas y llenas de detalles: cada choque de espadas, los rugidos de los monstruos, los relámpagos y las explosiones de poder hacen que sea aún más emocionante y muy adictivo de ver. La forma en que están diseñadas las mazmorras, junto con las criaturas que las habitan, es increíble. Solo Leveling no falla cuando se trata de la calidad de la animación.
Al final, le doy un 10/10. Este anime realmente estuvo a la altura de mis expectativas.
