Como están el día de hoy? Espero que super bien, yo con ganas de contarles que hace poco vi una pequeña serie de aproximadamente 12 caps, llamada "Given". Básicamente es una serie donde conocemos a una pequeña banda con el mismo nombre, donde pasan miles de cosas para llegar a los integrantes perfectos. La verdad creo que muchos ya la conocen, pero hoy yo quería dar mi opinión acerca de ella

How are you today? I hope you're doing great, I'm looking forward to tell you that I recently watched a little series of about 12 chaps, called "Given". Basically it's a series where we meet a small band with the same name, where thousands of things happen to reach the perfect members. I think many of you already know it, but today I wanted to give you my opinion about it.

Adentrándonos un poco en su historia, given es un anime que nos habla de Mayufu, un chico bastante introvertido que en su pasado llegó al difícil punto de tener que superar una pérdida, lo que lo hizo bastante callado y con increíbles ganas de aprender más de la música. Al conocer a Ugetsu, un joven guitarrista de su colegio, llega a notar las grandes habilidades que este tiene para la guitarra, y trata de que este le enseñe a tocar la guitarra que le dejo esa persona especial antes de morir. Luego de mucho insistir, estos comienzan a practicar las cosas básicas de la guitarra, hasta que Mayufu demuestra grandes dotes con este instrumento y con su voz, lo que lo hace el candidato perfecto para la banda de Ugetsu

Getting into its story, given is an anime that tells us about Mayufu, a rather introverted boy who in his past reached the difficult point of having to overcome a loss, which made him quite quiet and with an incredible desire to learn more about music. When he meets Ugetsu, a young guitarist from his school, he comes to notice the great skills he has for the guitar, and tries to get him to teach him to play the guitar left to him by that special person before he died. After much insistence, they begin to practice the basics of the guitar, until Mayufu demonstrates great skills with this instrument and with his voice, which makes him the perfect candidate for Ugetsu's band.

Así es como, nuestro protagonista entra a esta banda, que está un poco llena de dramas, peleas y mucha amistad. Gracias a esta banda, nuestro protagonista empieza a estar más animado y empieza a encontrarle sentido a la vida, más aún cuando este y ugetsu comienzan a sentir cosas uno por el otro. Una destacada serie que nos habla de todos los problemas que pueden existir en una banda, gracias a las personalidades tan distintas de cada integrante

This is how our protagonist enters this band, which is a bit full of dramas, fights and a lot of friendship. Thanks to this gang, our protagonist begins to be more animated and starts to find meaning in life, even more so when he and ugetsu start to feel things for each other. An outstanding series that tells us about all the problems that can exist in a gang, thanks to the very different personalities of each member.

Mi opinión

Yo llegué a ver esta serie sin mucha fe de que fuera buena. La verdad si me habían comentado ciertas cosas de ella, pero nunca había decidido verla gracias a que no veía un famdon de la misma. Yo se que no es necesario que una serie tenga fans para que sea buena, pero normalmente uno se deja llevar más por la opinión de otras personas, y las experiencias de las mismas viéndola

I came to see this series without much faith that it was any good. The truth is that I had been told certain things about it, but I had never decided to watch it because I didn't see a famdon of it. I know that it is not necessary for a series to have fans for it to be good, but normally one is more influenced by the opinion of other people, and their experiences watching it.

Al verla el comienzo no me intereso mucho. O sea, la verdad es que comienza con buena trama, pero como no le estaba prestando mucha atención, no terminé de agarrarle el gusto. La verdad es que esta serie comencé a verla hace mucho tiempo, pero la dejé por andar ocupada, al retomarla ya iba como por el cap 5, y de aquí si le pude agarrar mucho el gusto. La banda sonora es simplemente increíble, es de las cosas que más podría destacar, la banda sonora es simplemente fascinante y queda excelente. Raro para mí hubiera sido que las canciones fueran malas tomando en cuenta que es el tema principal de la serie, pero han superado mus expectativas

When I saw it, the beginning didn't interest me much. I mean, the truth is that it starts with a good plot, but since I wasn't paying much attention to it, I didn't end up liking it. The truth is that I started watching this series a long time ago, but I stopped watching it because I was busy, when I started watching it again I was already on chapter 5, and from here I could really enjoy it. The soundtrack is simply incredible, it is one of the things I could highlight the most, the soundtrack is simply fascinating and it is excellent. Rare for me would have been for the songs to be bad considering that it is the main theme of the series, but they have exceeded my expectations.

Realmente no tengo muchas cosas que decir a cerca de que no me guste algo, pero si tuviera que nombrar algo, seguramente sería el tema de que los personajes a veces siento que se hacían los despistados en ciertas ocasiones, llegando a verse un poco tontos en ciertas escenas. Pero la verdad fueron tan pocas que no toma notoriedad a la hora de hablar de esta serie

I don't really have many things to say about not liking something, but if I had to name something, it would probably be the fact that the characters at times I feel that they were a bit clueless on certain occasions, looking a bit silly in certain scenes. But the truth is that they were so few that it doesn't take notoriety when talking about this series.

Desde que la comencé a ver, sin tener spoilers encima, algo me decía que los protagonistas terminarían juntos de una buena manera, y debo decir que esta historia de amor me ha encantado. Es simplemente mágico ver como poco a poco van generando sentimientos por le otro, ayudándose a superar sus propios traumas en el camino, eso sí que es super lindo

Since I started watching it, without spoilers, something told me that the main characters would end up together in a good way, and I must say that I loved this love story. It's simply magical to see how little by little they generate feelings for each other, helping each other to overcome their own traumas along the way, that's really beautiful.

Al final de la serie, nos dieron un concierto increíble, que como tal no es el cierre, pero si es un punto muy importante y hermoso, ese último concierto es de los mejores que he visto, con la mejor banda sonora y la mejor ambientación. A este punto me recordó un poco de la serie de nana, por el comportamiento de algunos personajes dentro de la banda, es increible. Personalmente le doy un muy buen 9/10 posicionándose entre las series de anime que más me han gustado

At the end of the series, they gave us an incredible concert, which as such is not the closing, but it is a very important and beautiful point, that last concert is one of the best I've seen, with the best soundtrack and the best atmosphere. At this point it reminded me a little of the Nana series, because of the behavior of some characters in the band, it's incredible. Personally I give it a very good 9/10 positioning it among the anime series that I have liked the most.
