Pick Me Up! Infinite Gacha --- I Want Mooooore!!! XD

in The Anime Realm3 days ago (edited)

A few days back, one of my friends recommended I read a certain manhwa called Pick Me Up! Infinite Gacha. It's the kind of story when a human is transported into a game. I don't know if it can be categorized as a game isekai since the main character's human form is practically the same as when he's inside the game. Anyway, let's talk more about it...

NOTE: Photos are screenshots from the manhwa.

In the mobile game, Pick Me Up!, the user is called a Master. All the characters are unique because masters can't have the same character, and when a character dies in the game, it's gone forever.

The main character, Han Seojin is kind of a legend in this game since he's among the best masters there are. One day as he was trying to figure out how to move through the next stage without sacrificing his heroes, an odd character suddenly looked at him from the screen... as if it could see him.

He then woke up... inside the game!

He was forced to fight against monsters despite not knowing what was going on... until he found out that he was actually inside the game he was playing. He became a 1-star hero who used to be a farmer.

He realized that the characters in the game were actual people (from various towns in the game... he's the only actual earthling so far)... and since he knows the game well (given that he was a master), he's doing his best to work his way up and finally go back to his own world.

The manhwa is still ongoing and is currently at chapter 132... I just caught up earlier today and I am in a desperate need for more!

I love the art style, the storyline is so engaging that I couldn't stop reading... I finished it in two days despite it being a work day. xD There were a lot of interesting characters that I want to get to know more... hopefully in the upcoming chapters.

Reveal spoiler

[SPOILER...]When gaming, there are times when we get attached to certain characters. And in this manhwa, Han (the master) got the chance to actually see his heroes and the world he created. Isn't that amazing?! I like the concept of the heroes in the game having their own will. They effin' traversed the game and used the internet to search for their master.

There is still so much I don't know about the story, but it's a great read so far... And I'm especially excited to see this guy again soon.

I want to see Aaron again soon! He's one of my favorite characters (alongside Han, Jenna and Eolka) and is among the OG members of Party 1. He's my baby! (He's so soft that I want to protect him... hahaha) But really, I need him to have his screen time again soon. I'm patiently waiting for you, Aaron! lol

Anyway, I'll end my post here for now before I give out more spoilers. (I am actually in need of spoilers myself)

Thanks for reading and see you around! (^^,)/

I notice a certain crush developed towards a certain character XD I loved reading you and noticing so many emotions together for that manga. Great writing! 💚

Ohh... you noticed! hahaha
There's just something about that character that I find attractive, more so endearing.
And I have this feeling that he's going to be someone great in the later chapters. hahah
