Ohayo otakos from my kokoro, this is the first time I share in this community, yes, I am technically coming out of the closet, but this is stronger than me and I wanted to share this feeling. I was there, at the first genkidama in honor of Akira at the obelisk in Argentina.

It was tremendously spontaneous, I saw a post on Facebook as a self-managed call and I said "that's it, I'm going" I spoke with some friends, the otaku group par excellence and some others relegated in case plan A failed, obviously all the plans worked out well because it was clearly an undeniable feeling of belonging that called us together, this was a tribute

This was the screenshot I sent to my friends to encourage them to attend the ceremony

It seemed like there were few people but really the closer you got the crowd gathered, many people in cosplay, one or another doing interviews (I answered some very random questions on a cell phone 😆)

A small intervention with chalk and lungs in the middle of the square, the event consisted of singing some Latin openings and endings, raising their arms for the genkidama and several kamehame's, later a boy set up a drum kit to play the songs, at that moment A well-known cosplayer also appeared, who calls himself the Argentine Goku, his name is Ismael, he is a very friendly boy and he was haranguing the crowd, I don't have photos of him at that time because I had already had some wine and I wasn't thinking in the photos that I could have taken until a while later

The culprit who brought the wines, but thank goodness he arrived because my other friends left early and I wanted to stay a little longer.

I can't say that I went cosplaying because it would be disrespectful to the cosplayers who made an effort that afternoon to bring their work to the plaza. This costume that I used was actually a Christmas gift for my son from his aunt, at the time when they were showing Dragon Ball Z Kai on Cartoon Network several years ago, it was a dream come true to see my 8 year old son . wear Goku's outfit, he's already 14 and he barely used it... so I borrowed it for this event and probably future "bubbles parties" at night in Buenos Aires as long as it fits me

The last photos with the mate and the Argentine flag in BAires, see you always Akira, thank you for accompanying your work throughout my life, everything I learned from you always blooms in my heart and is my guide

Hi muchachonaaa 😃/, is a pass this event to which you went, in my country or city do not notice encouraged something then call attention there were encouraged to such magnitude, a great honor for a person who with his story of Dragon Ball has reached so much, I was pleased to be there and make a genkidama, solid information from the world of anime in Latin America that should not go unnoticed 😃/

Yes, it was more of a need to express affection from the four winds for Toriyama, for everything he built with his work, it is fantastic when someone manages to move so many hearts through the years and distances, the tributes continued at the parties and thematic fairs of the genre, just yesterday I went to one where there was a complete block of openings and endings 😁
thank you for comment!!!

What I love about Argentina is when they gather at the obelisk for anything, what I didn't expect is that they would do a tribute to Akira Toriyama, unfortunately where I am I don't think there is a place to do something like that, so I have to do a written tribute.

hahaha yes, it is spontaneous, it must be in our port city genes, it is an easily accessible area since it is well planned on purpose, and the feeling is like "what do I do with this feeling? I need to share it before it breaks the heart!" vibe, just talking to my friends on 7/3 when the word spread, (our time zone is one day behind Japan) we didn't know what to do and it came out of my soul "that's it, let's go to the obe" the next day The call goes out and look, I didn't even go when we won the World Cup, but it seems that every well-born Argentine has to go to the obelisk at least once in their life to congregate xD thanks for comment!!!!
