Management of a traditional Japanese Inn from perspective of a new 16 years old employee. Excellent all over (maybe except for just one episode).
This show is as good as non-supernatural "Spirited Away" could be. Passion for work, loyalty, friendship, coming-of-age, complicated family relationships and a bit of romance -- a very enjoyable combination with pleasant graphics and charming personalities.
Funny consultant who loves meaningless motivational quotes in English and whose advice always fails...
The show made reference to "Pale Flower (Kawaita hana, 1964)" movie.

Careless effort does nothing but harm.
Fest it up.
It's actually kind of refreshing to be hated this much.
"What do you know?" "A lot, actually, because I've been scolded by her a lot!"
So the mass media really is as evil as everyone says?!
The customer service in "Japanese style inn"s is inevitably focused on emphasizing the individual traits of the proprietress and the employees.
Some people can't have their own dream...
It's not about winning or losing.
