Oh, I understand. Well, as a general rule and for a romance fan, the first anime I talk about is not the right one because of the mix of drama and crime with yakuzas that it has, as I said, It's not that it's a bad romance per se, it's just very different from the popular Japanese romance cliché. Nina's is really impressive because it has a plot and a development that is unexpected with plot twists that make you stay to watch it until the end. Blue Box is a super calm and self-reflective anime with excellent animation and great characters, but a slow build-up.

Yep, it's totally far from the usual ideal Japanese romance, but it's not bad either. As for other anime, I'll check it out if it'll pique my interest.
