RE: “Tu Bian Ying Xiong X” (To Be Hero X), going beyond Japanese borders.

What a great review! I completely agree with you; To Be Hero X was one of the most pleasant surprises I've had lately. At first, you don't know what to expect since it's a Chinese production and not Japanese, but the visual quality is on another level; that mix of animation styles gives it a unique identity that's captivating from the very first minute.

And what you said about the plot is exactly how I felt watching it: that power system based on popularity and trust is almost frightening because it feels so real, almost like a metaphor for social media, influencers, and today's "cancel culture." I'm glad to see someone else recommending it with such enthusiasm!

The "social factor" as a fundamental aspect within the narrative was what most caught my attention in the script of this anime, and especially the way things were developed.

We - definitely - need more animes like this one out there.
