Hello to all the community of The Anime Realm, I hope you are great, today I want to talk about one of the manga that was among the big 3 of the Shōnen Jump, and that despite being a work with many epic moments did not know how to finish in a good way its final arc, as you can guess this post will have a great load of spoilers since the arc of The Bloody War of the 1000 years has not been adapted to anime yet, so without anything else to add today I want to talk about Bleach.

As many know Bleach is the work made by Tite Kubo and began its publication in the Shōnen Jump in 2001 and after 74 volumes ended its publication ended in 2016 with the arc of The Bloody War of 1000 years and its anime adaptation was made by Pierrot studio starting in 2004 and being broadcast until 2012, counting with 366 episodes (between canon material and filler) and adapted until the end of the battle with Aizen and also has 4 movies.

Bleach introduces us to Kurosaki Ichigo a high school boy who has the ability to see spirits, one night he meets Kuchiki Rukia, a Shinigami who is surprised that Ichigo can see her and the spiritual power of this, but their meeting is interrupted by a Hollow which seriously injures Rukia when she was protecting Ichigo, In order to defeat the Hollow, Rukia decides to pass part of her Shinigami powers to Ichigo, but thanks to his great spiritual power, Ichigo almost absorbs it completely and manages to defeat the Hollow with ease, becoming from this moment on a substitute Shinigami.

Well after giving you a little introduction of what Bleach is, let's go to the important part of this post haha and I must say beforehand that Spoiler Alert since this arc as I already mentioned was not adapted to anime (although it is in production). The arc of The Bloody War of a Thousand Years for me was one of the most epic arcs not Bleach, not only for introducing us to the leader of the Quincy Yhwach and the Sternritter the elite army of the Quincy (some of which were either incredibly powerful or had extremely tetric powers), but also showed us the evolution of Gottei 13 characters and both epic Bankais and Shikais (to name a few we have Urahara's, Commander General Yamamoto's, Rukia's, Renji's, and Kyōraku Syunsui's).

Even though this arc brought us epic battles, and showed us that even though our protagonists would develop new abilities there would be enemies they couldn't defeat, and that together that Kubo didn't mind killing important characters for me was making it the best arc of Bleach, the problem came ending this arc for two big reasons, the first one is that when you give too much power to an enemy (like Yhwach was given) finding a way to defeat him is either going to be too far fetched or it's going to need the script to do crazy things, and unfortunately that happened with this arc, with Yhwach getting the Spirit King's powers he was practically impossible to beat no matter how many characters like Aizen with his zanpaku-tō, Ichigo with his new Bankai (which to me looked cool), Renji (also with his ultimate Bankai), Inoue, teamed up to attack him; unfortunately in the end they had to find an extremely far-fetched solution to finally stop him using a special arrow shot by Uryū, which would stop Yhwach's powers for a few seconds.

Besides looking for an extremely far-fetched way to defeat the final villain, the progress and epic design of Ichigo's new Shikai and Bankai were lost, it wasn't even shown what form the "new" Bankai of this one would have since his Shikai went back to being the old Zangetsu, Besides, due to the same inconsistencies of the ending, it was too rushed and things ended in an even more incoherent way, the worst of all is that in the end the couples that made the time jump were not what we were presented with for so many years (Ichigo and Inoue's union or Rukia and Renji's).

I know this post sounds a little hater with the end of Bleach, but I really consider it disappointing after having presented such a brutal arc as the beginning of the Bloody War, and not only far-fetched (because it really was) but also too forced and rushed, I don't know if the anime adaptation of this arc will present an improvement or will be just as disappointing, we can only wait. Bleach nos presenta a Kurosaki Ichigo un joven de preparatoria que posee la capacidad de ver espíritus, una noche se encuentra Con Kuchiki Rukia, una Shinigami que se sorprende de que Ichigo pueda verla y del poder espiritual de este, pero su encuentro es interrumpido por un Hollow el cual hiere gravemente a Rukia cuando esta protegía a Ichigo, para poder vencer a Hollow Rukia decide pasar parte de sus poderes de Shinigami a Ichigo pero este gracias a su gran poder espiritual casi lo absorbe por completo y logra vencer al Hollow con facilidad, convirtiéndose a partir de este momento en un Shinigami Sustituto.

Bien luego de hacerles una pequeña introducción de que es Bleach, vamos a la parte importante de este post jaja y debo decir de ante mano que Alerta de Spoilers ya que este arco como ya comenté no fue adaptado al anime (aunque se encuentra en producción). El arco de La Guerra Sangrienta de los Mil años para mí fue uno de los arcos más épicos no Bleach, no solo por presentarnos al líder de los Quincy Yhwach y a los Sternritter el ejército de elite de los Quincy (algunos de los cuales o eran increíblemente poderosos o tenían poderes extremadamente tétricos), sino que también nos mostró la evolución de personajes del Gottei 13 y tanto Bankais como Shikais épicos (por nombrar algunos tenemos el de Urahara, el del Comandante General Yamamoto, Rukia, Renji, y el de Kyōraku Syunsui).

A pesar de que esté arco nos trajo batallas épicas, y nos mostró que aunque nuestros protagonistas desarrollarán nuevas habilidades habrían enemigos que no podrían vencer, y eso junto que a Kubo no le importo matar a personajes importantes para mí lo estaba haciendo el mejor arco de Bleach, el problema llegó finalizando este arco por dos grandes razones, la primera es que cuando se le da demasiado poder a un enemigo (como se le dió a Yhwach) encontrar una forma para vencerlo o va a ser demasiado rebuscada o va a necesitar que el guión haga locuras, y lamentablemente eso paso con este arco, al Yhwach obtener los poderes del Rey Espiritual era prácticamente imposible de vencer por más que personajes como Aizen con su zanpaku-tō, Ichigo con su nuevo Bankai (el cual para mí se veía genial), Renji (también con su Bankai definitivo), Inoue, se unieran para atacarlo; lamentablemente al final tuvieron que buscar una solución demasiado rebuscada para al fin detenerlo usando una flecha especial disparada por Uryū, que detendría los poderes de Yhwach por unos segundos

Además de buscar una forma extremadamente rebuscada para vencer al villano final, el progreso y el diseño épico del nuevo Shikai y Bankai de Ichigo se perdieron, ni siquiera se mostró que forma tendría el "nuevo" Bankai de este ya que su Shikai volvió a ser el antiguo Zangetsu, además que por las mismas incoherencias del final se hizo demasiado apresurado y las cosas terminaron de forma más incoherente aún, lo peor de todo es que al final las parejas que hicieron en el salto de tiempo no fueron lo que por tantos años se nos presento (la unión de Ichigo y Inoue o la de Rukia y Renji).

Se que esté post suena un poco hater con el final de Bleach, pero es que en serio lo considero decepcionante luego de habernos presentado un arco tan brutal como el inicio de la Guerra Sangrienta, y no solo rebuscado (porque en serio lo fue) sino también demasiado forzado y apresurado, no sé si la adaptación al anime de este arco presentará una mejora o será igual de decepcionante, solo nos queda esperar.
