I exhort you greatly to listen to the Firesign Theatre's "Waiting for the Electrician or Someone Like Him" from 1968. I hope that enjoy as much as I did when I first heard it many years ago. The plight of the "native americans" was not so unknown as the history books would have one believe, even back then. And, it's still funny.
