One doubt I had when looking at Visual Studio Code, why not use Game Engines to simplify and shorten the work a bit? Unity accepts C++ well.

hi. using c++ to write my game in unity would cause more problems than it solves. i'm using olcpixelgameengine right now which isn't exactly a game engine but more like a minimal pixel renderer. i like it that way.
Looks interesting.
