I kinda change my mind

I think hive is gonna be ok.

  1. I like seeing debate being played out.
    https://peakd.com/dhf/@threespeak/how-to-reduce-hives-inflation-problem-our-new-dhf-proposal-voting-criteria-hbd-apr-and-a-proposed-value-plan-sop
  2. Market (led by btc) is turning around and it's gonna change everything.
  3. $0.1 hive seems more like a psychological barrier. People including myself will probably stick around. I might put some of my money back into hive.
  4. Sometimes you gotta invest in something for a long time before seeing any fruit (especially dhf). That's how things work for most companies centralized or decentralized. Majority of them will fail. Hopefully not hive. I've seen its resilience and I still see it. I have my personal favorites and there's projects I don't like, but that's how voting works.
  5. Is 15% apr on hbd staking worth it? I dunno. But hive definitely suffers from lack of exposure. There's a lot of defi projects out there that are horrible deals but get way more attention. Dozens if not hundreds of them. Perhaps it's because hive isn't listed on some of the major exchanges like coinbase or defi platforms. Or maybe it's a ui issue. Either way marketing-wise all it takes is one mention from a prominent figure and floogates will open. The question is which part of hive is interesting to an outsider?

You as a big stake holder, I can see why is it a big deal. I fully agreed and should take cautious. We've seen enough rug pulls in our crypto life.

What I cannot brain are the small time users, like they have 10hp left in the wallet doing posting and earning upvotes, whilst shouting to the skies and to the seas worrying if their 500HBD deposits is gonna survive 😅

Me, I have always been supporting ASEAN Hive community and delegated most of my power for the community curation. I'm not too worry though, and I'm still continuously adding my stake on a daily basis.

for now i'm not too worried either. discussion is going on and i'll see what happens. i also think btc is about to go crazy and hopefully hive will ride the wave along with 100000 other chains. meanwhile hopefully valueplan delivers.

Thank you @stresskiller. Now I know you also read the fncked up community 😂

it could be something as simple as the red logo

sometimes it just might be the smallest things

i feel like yellow would be a good color for it

I dunno. I'm gonna wait at least until January 2026. I think everyone's brains around the world got fried about five years ago and very few have recovered and the young are plummeting into brain rot and sludge as their go to.

hey man it's been awhile. i think everyone's rotting now.

If it's a kind of all inclusive entropy (state of disorder) then somewhere else there must be order, I just don't see it yet (Doesn't mean it's not there). The office of education finally gave us a tiny raise after 20 years. Happy Thanksgiving. Now with that raise I can buy a pizza or 2,000 Hive. I'm going with the pizza.

happy holidays. the entire economy's fucked and most likely it's only gonna get worse. the only viable hedge i see against that is btc. i have a daughter now btw. we should talk again soon.

one thing i didn't mention: altera's evm compatibility is big to my eyes. for the longest time hive has been isolated from the rest of crypto world. if an outsider can interface with hive as seamlessly as an erc20 token, that opens a whole new bag of possibilities. it's a big if, but i think altera has the biggest potential in all of dhf projects.
