Hope we are already in the spirit of the season as we continue the count down of the year 2025. Well its all in our hands to enjoy all that the season will bring and have them as memories because it suddenly will pass.

Talking about why do people stay poor, is it a thing of the mindset or should it be blamed on system failure? This is one question that I needed to take a pause and reflect on when I came across this week’s prompt, knowing that truly no human being will want to be poor but the challenges to becoming rich 🤑 in life is one big bold step many feel they can’t take.

In a simple and understanding language, people who strive to become rich in life are those who have decided to take all kinds of risks, facing challenges and will never give up even if they have failing multiple times. So many who choose to dwell in poverty and wretchedness believed they can’t either face challenges nor want to get out of their comfort zone.

A popular quote by Albert Einstein says that “Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep a balance, you must keep moving”. With this quote put to practice, it then appears as if its only those who wants to succeed in life that makes efforts and embrace every opportunities that comes their way because of the mindset of “I must succeed in life”. And we have also seen how it’s only those who believe in themselves that goes far in life.

Although we can also say that system failure has contributed greatly to why many live in poverty due to lack of support from the government for some amenities that would have helped many who even tried to elevate themselves. Take for instance, a youth whose parents has trained from primary school to secondary school. Then after living secondly school decided he wants to learn barbing of hair instead of going to the University. When he finally learned how to barb hair, opened up an outlet for barbing. Then suddenly his problem became power supply since there is always power outage in his area. These are the kinds of hitches many faces. And because their minds are set to these kinds of businesses, they live from hand to mouth.

Those who go extra miles to take challenges in life are the ones who dreamed so high, and not just dreaming, but dreams with action. When I first started a six months property management course to become a Realtor because of my love for architecture and designs, my friends told me its a man’s field kind of job. They said it’s hectic and tedious. But I did not give up because my heart ♥️ was telling me to go go go. Today, am so happy 😀 to be in such a field.

So I feel its in our hands to know what we want for ourselves even though the system has failed us , because life has never been a bed 🛌 of roses 🌹, especially in for those who are born in the under developing countries where the system is not working. We need to actually take every bull by the horn , making every opportunity count in our lives.

At the end of the day, it all boils down to taking the step and not waiting for anyone to help you. Another thing about poverty is that many people are lazy to do anything. They are comfortable being fed from hand to mouth.
Thank you for the invite. I appreciate 🙏

On point sis. Should we now say that our destiny lies in our hands since many are lazy to even take opportunities that knocks ✊ on their doors 🚪?

We should already know that the situation to elevate oneself especially in countries like ours is grabbing every opportunity that comes our way and hoping to at least succeed in one.

Thanks for your time and happy 😃 almost weekend 🥰❤️
