Meanwhile, while we were growing up, we had a lot of good and bad memories during this season. Some is always very funny when we remember it.
I remember one Christmas, my mum pretended has if he has not bought any Christmas clothes or shoes foe us , i was so angry , i felt so unhappy, when ever my neighbors displayed their own Christmas cloths or talked about it. At this point i started feeling if my parents did not like us that particular Christmas or if we did anything bad,but the sad part is that, alll the anger will only be within you , you dare not try to misbehave for my father to see, if you try that, you will get it hot.
So on 24th night, my mum called us into the room and started giving us our already made clothes. I was so happy.
I also remember one Christmas that i gave my tailor a clothe to sew for me, but the guy kept on disappointing anytime i visit him to collect the clothes. He kept on postponing. It wasn't funny, I visited him on 24th, he didn't even start the work but he assured me to stay that he will finish the work that same night. I stayed with the guy till around 8pm he was not done, i had to go back home and very early on 25th morning i wss in his shop to collect my Christmas clothes. I stayed till he finished the clothes that morning, then i took it back home and dress up to church that morning.
Well Christmas was always nice and sweet, because as a child, you will have hope that goodies will be available at home. You will only be expecting from your parents and you will be at the receiving end. But now the story has changed, when it's Christmas season you will now be the one thinking of what to buy for your parents. Childhood was nice, adulthood is still nice , but we pray that God should bless us with money.
I can imagine the stress your brain must have gone through while you were thinking of a Christmas without new clothes and shoes
